I first learned about this product from my granddaughter who had a back problem. She forwarded to me the website and informed me that this is the most appropriate backpack for her inasmuch as she carries quite a heavy load of school stuff. Now, she goes to school with the beautiful purple backpack very happy and comfortable. Thanks a lot! More power to the Airpacks Ergonomic Backpacks!

I ordered this backpack for my 10 year old son. It has now been a year since we got it in and he used it from Oct. until May. The lumbar support worked well and was comfortable for the first 2 months. After that, it required pumping up regularly and he started complaining about the fit. We adjusted and adjusted and he still complained. The straps had so many adjustments, that it no longer held tension and was falling below his bottom on a daily basis. This then required trying to tighten them daily or weekly because it was aggrevating. So, we are go to order an Underarmour backpack now. My older son has had one for 2 years and hasn't complained once, and it is in great shape.

This bag is totally uncomfortable and moves all over the place. It is also noisy when you walk or move.,

There is no waist strap to secure this to yourself so it doesn't bounce and move around while walking. The bag keeps shifting due to the way the top of the straps are designed. This causes it to make an annoying rubbing noise. There is no cushion on the back for comfort against hard books or things you have packed. Nothing like the comfort of the Swiss Gear bag we have. This was purchased for study abroad because it was much lighter than our Swiss Gear Bag which we did not want carry or pack in luggage to use later at 5 lbs empty. It was not worth the money at all for the hype, and we would really like to have our money back.
