As a user of Corel Draw and PhotoPaint since version 6 I guess I could be described as a power-user. I was able to take one of Fosters mini boot camp days for version 6 and instantly became an Unleashed addict. A single day of his instruction saved me hours and hours of time, not to mention stress. I then took the full 3 day boot camp for version 8. Again the amount of time his instruction took off of my daily graphic load was off the scale.

Moving into Version 11 and now 12 there is even more to learn which isn't really evident from simply playing with the program. The ease of reading and following the instruction of the E-book is amazing. The movies help explain the text, making the uptake of information even faster. Seeing what you just read in motion on your screen is a fantastic help.

The best part about Foster's instruction is that it is real world with real world applications. Many other graphics classes I've taken or books I've read don't seem to touch on much reality (ie. neat stuff to know about but nothing I can really apply it to) Foster leads you through both simple and complex examples with the ease of an expert who has intimate knowledge of the subject matter.

And...the absolute best part is that you own the CD and can rewind and forward at will to review what you want. Since it is a CD and not a heavy book I can tote it around with my laptop as an easy quick reference.

Finally a computer manual written by a human. And one a human can understand. I gave up on trying to understand the computer manuels. This one shows you how to actually do real world situations. A reference guide I constantly go back to. Anderson Humphreys

Foster is undeniably one of the most ardent supporters and instructors of Corel Products on the planet. In a bold move, this book on CD Rom is a practical way to deliver information that departs from the usual publishing route. And why not? The information is what really matters, not the paper it's printed on. One of the great advantages of delivering his book this way is so you have every page in color. Often printed books in this field will only have a 4-8 page color section in the middle.

He goes through the features of CorelDRAW in a comprehensive fashion. There is also a crash course in Photo-PAINT. He maintains a no-nonsense approach in getting to the point with his instruction style. There's lots of information here, with no "filler". After writing so many books on DRAW, his style is refined and very clear. User of all levels will understand his prose - a challenging feat for technical subjects.

As a power user, even I was suprised to learn about some cool features in the product that I'd overlooked or hadn't seen anywhere else. Foster is certainly an "insider" regarding DRAW.

One of my favorite things is having screen videos as part of the instruction. I've always learned lots by watching others work - so this was ideal.

There's lots of info to go through. It's a great combination of instant gratification and long-term value. If you're serious about getting the most out of CorelDRAW by undertanding the tools and features, you should get a copy of this.

I recently attended one of Foster's Corel Draw Boot Camps and feel that "CorelDRAW 12 Unleashed" is the perfect partner to that great learning experience. The book on CD-ROM puts everything, as far as useful information about DRAW and PHOTO-PAINT, right at your finger tips in a way that is easy to comprehend. This book has become my Corel "bible" and I urge anyone who uses the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite to invest in it, as well as one of Foster's Boot Camps.

I've started working with CorelDraw 12 and this guide and am making a lot of progress. I find this type of method is a great way to learn, not as tedious as just a manual alone, and watching the instructional videos clues you in a lot faster to how to use features. I'm very satisfied with this aid.

This is the best program I've found for a beginner at learning the compexities of CorelDraw 12. Simple easy to follow demos that you can use while working in CorelDraw

I have been very happy with this product. So far, it has led me through every thing that I wanted to do. Worth the cost.

Don't be fooled by the reviews you read here. They're completely wrong -- it looks like the author wrote them! The content of this ebook is difficult to read, badly written, and poorly illustrated. The structure is unorganized and the author obviously has no professional design or illustration skills training. Absolutely terrible stuff.

I strongly recommend the CorelDRAW Official Guide instead - it's the complete opposite.
