5.0 out of 5 stars An indispensable book for Corel DRAW! 5., April 2, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Coreldraw! 5 for Dummies (Paperback)
I had used the Corel DRAW! 5 package for three years before buying this book (and it's companion Quick-Reference guide) and I discovered techniques and functions which I had never used before. I also learned of short-cuts for many of the tools I had already been using in both DRAW and PhotoPaint. I wish that this book had a little more detail on some of the other programs contained in this package (such as Ventura Publisher, and Trace), but this easily understood, humorous instruction book is more than worth it's price for the information on the two main programs (draw and paint) alone

This review is from: Coreldraw! 5 for Dummies (Paperback)
Each time I get a new software, I always pick up a "Dummies" book to go along with the manual. It makes learning that much faster and gives you chuckles in between. I recently purchase Photoshop CS5 for Dummies and I wasn't disappointed with that one either.

Keep it up you wonderful Dummies writers!
