This learning aid duplicates the CorelDraw 3 programme exactly on screen, with the addition of a small prompt box in the top right hand corner that guides the user in various learning activities. This package provides an interactive onscreen tutorial of eight hours of activities ranging from five to 25 minutes in length. It covers the entire range of CorelDraw 3 features and it is self-paced and flexible so that users can move backwards and forwards through the package at their own pace. It is suitable for all beginners with CorelDraw 3. Features common to all "Walkabouts" include: interactive glossary of computer terms; help button providing mini-tutorial on Walkabout; progress tracker; optional quiz after each activity; timer function; colour guide book to accompany the disk.

Armed with the excellent and timeless information and techniques contained in this clever simulator, learning to use any other version of CorelDraw! is just a matter of checking out the new stuff. All the basics are contained in the easy lessons. You can learn as little or as much as you want, at your own speed, and repeat it as many times as necessary. The program keeps a log of your progress for your own information and even teaches you a bit about Windows. It is a DOS based program with an interface that mimics the CorelDraw! screen. Even though Corel is almost ready to release their 9th version, I can still recommend this well constructed teaching tool with complete confidence.
