I got this tea kettle to match my plates. It's pretty and is nice even if I leave it setting out on the stove. I love the sound it makes when the water boils, almost like a harmonica instead of the shrill whistle most kettles make. The only problem is that it doesn't pour without spilling. It drips down the spout when you pour into a mug or bowl. Heats water well.
