Corelle Coordinates Abundance 4-Piece Bake-and-Serve Casserole Set

I recently broke two of my favorite pieces of Corelle Baking and Serving Dishes. I looked on several sites and it seemed all I could find was the handleless French Style Corningware, which I have and find hard to use due to being without handles. This Bakeware has great handles and I love it. I love the Chutney on the side, I compared this price with ordering just two piece of the same thing in Abundance Design and the oblong baking dish separate and it was $10.00 more without the ramkins. This was a better value.

It has the potential to be a great set...and a great price. However, amazon doesn't seem to be able to get it out intact. When I received it, I was worried that it would be broken due to very poor packaging. When I opened it up, I found that the lid to the small dish was broken.

I sent for a replacement, asking for just another lid...because the rest of the set was fine. Amazon then sent another whole set (again poorly packaged)...with another broken lid for the smaller dish. When I sent in a complaint, they said that I was out of luck and that they would not send another. If I wanted I could send in the entire set for a refund.

If amazon really wanted to take care of a customer, they could have sent a replacement lid...or at least a set that was properly packaged. Instead, I have to go to the trouble of shipping both sets back...and I won't end up with anything to show for my troubles.

Until amazon fixes its problems with shipping this product, I would strongly recommend that you not purchase this set.

I am very pleased with this product and would buy more of the same product again.

I bought this set with its 3 piece bowl set.When it arrived it was broken,but when mentioned to amazon was replaced in few days.This set is nice, but too heavy. Also have to be very careful as it can chip fast. This was one of my first set i bought so am yet happy with it.

Although the set looks quite lovely in pictures... both casserole sets I ordered arrived completely shattered. The packaging was obviously sub-standard and doomed to provide little or no protection. If you have to have this set I suggest buying them in person rather than through the mail...

UPDATE: I purchased a set of these through eBay & they arrived in perfect condition thanks to exceptional packing by the seller. My advice: get your baking dishes through eBay !!!

Beware of ordering Corelle Coordinates. The Bake-and Serve Casserole set I ordered came broken. The packaging is not adequate for the weight of the stoneware pieces. I did not re-order after sending it back.

I was hesitant to order after reading about the breakage problems, but took the chance because I couldn't make a favorite family recipe until I replaced my broken casserole. I am very glad I did! I love this set: they are heavy, good sizes, easy to clean, used several times every week. After using my first set for several months, I ordered two additional sets: a second set for myself (did I say I love them???) and one for a gift. All three sets arrived from Amazon with no breakage via supersaver shipping.

This set is beautiful, very functional, great from frigde to table, nice bowls to take to a covered dish . I just love these.

I've read some of the other reviews and thought I should add my two cents worth. I too received my first shipment with the small lid broken, returned it and received the second shipment intact. The cookware is great. I don't know of any other cookware that I use more often. Now if the manufacturer could just get the quality control up on the packaging we'd all have fewer headaches!

These are pretty and practical baking dishes.
