I purchase this spoon rest because I needed a couple more dollars for free shipping and because I actually needed a spoon rest. It does everything it is designed to do. It is a little ugly with the iris things on it, but if flowers are your thing then you should have no problem with that. We have knocked it around and no scratches, it sits very close to the flame on our small stove and has no signs of melting. It stays clean, keeps our stove clean, and for the price can't be beat. If you need a spoon rest that is durable and don't mind flowers, you should be comfortable buying this one.

I wasn't expecting much for $3, but I did expect the irises to be the same color as the irises in the shadow iris dish set and they are NOT!!!

How does that happen? That is not sophisticated nor elegant as stated.

Well, you buy cheap you get cheap, I guess.

It does its job, but I didn't realize how deep this thing was. I'm worried that one of our cats is going to land on it and catapult the spoon across the room. If you're looking for a shallow spoon rest, it's not the way to go. It also won't work for large spatulas, as it's way too small.

from spaghetti sauce to soup this spoon rest holds my spoon for me safely so I do not burn myself.

Unfortunately, this item is made of plastic and not the 'Corelle' type of dishware that the picture leads one to believe. Picture matches the dinnerware; but had I know it was just made of plastic I would not have bought (too expensive to send back).

A perfect complement to the rest of my Shadow Iris set. I use it for my stirring and serving spoons all of the time.

I just recieved my new spoon rest, and I must say that it looks great in my kitchen! The colors are great, and the size is just perfect! Shipping was on time and everything was intact!

I bought two of the spoon rests. I just love the larger size as it fits all my spoons. It is hard to find such great rests at this size.

Very excellent turnaround time and condition. Very pretty! Just what I was envisioning for my stovetop.

I ordered this spoon rest with the coordinating burner covers. I had to return everything. The spoon rest had a stain by the flowers. One of the large burner covers had a stain as well. I don't recommend these items based on both being damaged.
