So far I love my dishes the only drawback is that they are stonewear so the bottom rim is a little rough and my cherry table is very sensitive. I have to make sure that I use placemats when setting them on the table or they will scratch the finish. Other than that they are beautiful!

i love then , they look great , they look like stoneware but their corelle so they won't chip like stoneware. I like the size of the dinner plates and the color goes with any kind of food.

These dishes are very well made and scratch resistant. It's hard to find dark colors that will withstand everyday use like this.

Looking for more to add to the collection.

They look beautiful, I'am getting many compliments from friends! I have had no problems with the microwave, we make oatmeal in the bowls and tea in the cups everyday! (original review)

After a year of use these dishes are scratched and 4 of the pieces have broken during everyday use. I would give them 2.5 stars now!

Packaging was great, product arrived fast, quality is very good, with deep red on the inside. I have had many compliments on the rich color

I brought this dinnerware for my daughter and her husband, we were especially pleased that this was shipped earlier than expected and arrived in perfect condition. It is a beautiful set of dinnerware that is quality made. I don't work for corning ware, however a good friend introduced me to the corelle products 25 years ago and I have loved them ever since. You can use corelle products in any type of dinner situtaion. This dinnerware I plan on buying for myself just in a different color.

Okay, it's been nine months since I bought these dishes and I can honestly say I have never owned such durable dishes before. They are GREAT. I am a bit clumsy and get in a hurry doing dishes, and I tend to hit the counter edge with them now and then as I'm loading stuff into the dishwasher, and not one dish has broken or chipped (I have quartz countertops, too - very hard). I'm am completely happy with these durable dishes, and the ONLY negative thing I can say about them is that you must be careful when using them on your tabletops. Being stoneware they tend to be a tiny bit rough on the bottoms, and they could scratch delicate surfaces. Just use placemats or a tablecloth and you'll be fine.

We've used Corelle dinnerware for years but have usually been disappointed in its performance in some area - usually microwaving ability. Most Corelle tends to overheat or heat very unevenly in the microwave. The Hearthstone is perfect! It works flawlessly in the microwave, evenly heating food without the plate or bowl even getting warm (A great test of this is cooking Cream O'Wheat cereal which is almost impossible to cook evenly in regular Corelle). It has the look and feel of heavy ceramic dinnerware but it's NOT fragile. We threw out all our previous ceramic ware due to the unavoidable chipping and scarring that happens no matter how careful you are. The Hearthstone has not chipped at all with heavy use and you can use heavy duty steak knives without worrying that you will leave a permanent mark on the plate.

We found one set of the red Hearthstone by accident at a local discount store and immediately wanted more after trying it out. The store could or would not order any more so we bought the orange set on Amazon. We love this stuff so much we proceeded to throw out all our other daily dinnerware!

I was thrilled when I received my dishes! The color is even better than expected. Chili Red is just that....chili color. They are very contemporary and nice and solid. Can't go wrong with this choice!

These dishes were the perfect color for our new home, and that's probably my favorite thing about them. They look so sharp on our table! But of course, they are durable (my 6-yr-old and 8-yr-old haven't hurt them yet, and they load the dishwasher) like you would expect from Corelle. I bought 12 place-settings so that I wouldn't always be washing dishes for our family of 6. We love these dishes!
