Corelle Impressions 16-Piece Dinnerware Set Wine Berries

I've been looking for breakfast dishes to replace an old stone wear set and found these on open stock. The newer Corelle designs are really nice and a big improvement over what I remember. The "wine berries" lunch plates are prettier than the dinner plates, which seem sort of lopsided design-wise. Even so, this is an attractive pattern and the photo doesn't do it justice at all. The lunch plates are just right for a fried egg & toast or omelette, and the bowls a nice size for cereal. I didn't need mugs so just bought the plates and bowls. The background color and shapes are exactly like Corelle's basic "sandstone" pattern, so it should be easy to add to these over time.
Updated update 6/09: I was noticing a lot of manufacturing defects in this and other Corelle patterns last year. The different colors apparently get stamped on one over the other but weren't always lined up right. Corelle was unavailable for awhile and is now back in stock, so I'm hoping these problems are fixed. In the meantime, I've been adding fruit bowls, bread & butter plates, etc., in Sandstone and all in all, couldn't be happier with these dishes.

Corelle makes a great light-weight set of dishes. They also stack easily so you can get a lot of dishes in a small space. I love the off-white color of this set. I think the bright-white sets look a little cheap - unless they are in the contemporary styles. I hope Corelle makes more sets like this.

The base color is a bit more almond than picture shows. I love the authentic hand-painted look. The cups are especially pretty. I'm giving it 4-stars because there seems to be no matching accessories for this pattern, such as small dessert plates, rimmed soup bowls or super cereal bowls that I need. I hope the company will consider doing this soon.

This is my second set of Corelle. My first set are over 12 years old and still beautiful but unfortunately can't find replacements in patten.

We live in Hawaii and it is difficult to find selection. I am always thankful that amazon delivers to us! I always use corelle as they do not chip and they are basic in appearance. The wine berries pattern has a splash of color that is just enough. They arrived in perfect condition. We absolutley love them!

I have had the Corelle Wineberries pattern for about a month now. I bought 2 sets and plan to buy 2 more soon. I wasn't overly impressed with the design (or lack of) on the cereal bowl. I had been using Pfaltzgraff's Juniper design, but I had many chipped plates and found it was time for a change. I actually found that my accessories from the juniper design go pretty well with the wineberries, so that was a plus. These dishes take up so much less space, love it.

I brought the dinnerware set for my mother. It is a very pretty set and she plans to used them everyday.I did not give it 5 stars because two of the lunch plates were destroyed. We were amazed that they were shipped with very little packing.

I purchased these Corelle dishes and am very pleased. The colors look more bold in the picture but over all, nice size dessert plates and mugs, light weight is the main reason I purchased Corelle. Very pretty pattern. Highly recommend.

As expected, this set is just as represented. I purchased 2 16pc sets and couldn't be happier. I had Corelle dishes before and had forgotten how great they are. The shipment arrived before expected and without even a chip on any of the pieces. Would definitely purchase again in future.

I bought two sets of these plates to appease my husband who hated our non-microwavable set (that I loved). These ended up nicer in person and we were happy enough with them to get rid of the previous (well-loved, but not practical) set. We have dropped at least one on the marble floor and it survived, so I imagine these will be around for awhile.

Bought this item as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She wanted a set of everyday dishes. Shipping was timely. Product was in perfect condition when received. She loves them.
