Make sure to ask the seller about the cups, because they are stoneware and made in Thailand...instead of being the same kind of correlle material the plates and bowls are, which are made in the U.S.A. The stoneware is heavier and I feel will break easierly. The original set I purchased from the store have cups that are made in the correlle material and made in the U.S.A. There were also a couple of scratches on one of the plates. I'm not one to return things, but make sure that if you purchase this exact item...you e-mail the seller with these concerns so that they can check the items before they send them to you.

I really like my corelle livingware abundance set. The new corelle is sturdier than the earlier versions. I like the lip edges on the plates food doesn't slid off as easily and it is nice for children to scoop up their food.

I also like the coloring the fruits and the edging coloring on the bowls. Although I do wish the bowls were a little smaller.

I do wish this set did have bigger coffee cups. The cups that come with this set are too small, almost tea set small. I do not use them because they are to small.

Overall I am happy with my set I've been looking at the corelle sets for 2 years trying to make up my mind.

I am enjoying our new Corelle dishes; we've owned two other Corelle patterns in the past, and I like how durable and easy they are to take care of. The only thing I would change would be to have the cups made from the same material as the plates; these cups are stoneware and I would imagine they are easily broken.

I usually love corellware so ordered these sight unseen. The pattern is raised so when you scrape your fork across the plate, it's very annoying, like fingernails scratching a blackboard. I don't like it and my husband doesn't like it. They also aren't very shiny, kinda dull for brand new, although that's not enough to make me not like them but I really hate the scratching. As soon as I can afford it, I will get rid of these and find something else but won't buy on line.

I can't tell you how old these are now but must be at least 15 years old. I was just writing a bad review for the Chutney pattern I replaced these with and was so disappointed and decided to write a good review for these. Wish I would have stuck with the Abundance. I just got tired of looking at them and fell in love with the look of the Chutney. These are so much thicker and have held up great over the years. I would definately buy them again. I am still using them as extras all these years later. The plates are good sized. The newer patterns have smaller plates and also chip and break easily. I don't think I have ever broken one dish from Abundance. The glasses on the other hand didn't last more than 3 months so I would not buy those.
I have owned Corelle for 20 years and this is my favorite of the 3 patterns that I have had. I bought them when they first came out and they are still going strong.

My family has had this set for over 10 years...no breaks, no issues, nice looking and doesn't get piping hot in the microwave...what more could you want?!

In the last year of ordering correlle abundance items as gifts for my mother in law from Amazon, they have managed to pack absolutely nothing securely. The latest blunder being the packaging of a ceramic baking set, which they dropped in to a cardboard box and applied one thin sheet of styrafoam packing. Getting this item replaced has been a 3 month nightmare, ending with Amazon telling me sorry for the trouble we can't meet our obligation to you, here's your money back. 100% unacceptable from a retailer who use to carry such high standards in customer service.

I have used Corelle dinnerware for years. When it came time to buy a new set of dinnerware the only decision was which pattern to choose. The Abundance set is attractive and the Corelle material is lightweight & durable. I will purchase this type of dinnerware whenever the need arises.

My mother who lives with us has Parkinson's disease. Her tremors are to the point that the glaze on my stoneware was cracking and chipping so I had to throw away several pieces of my American Made stoneware.

Corelle is perfect, it doesn't chip and it saves a ton of space in my cabinet. It fits into the dishwasher much easier than the soneware does.

I highly recommend Corelle, still American Made.
