Ordered three sets of this dishware. Two sets arrived OK. One in little itsy bitsy pieces. Drove home the point that Corelle is only break RESISTANT. Although to be fair, it was packed VERY poorly by Amazon. The UPS guy just shook his head. Amazon replaced the box promptly.

Pleased with the dishes. Neat pattern and it was nice to retire our kids plastic dishes with nice looking adult dishes that we don't have to worry about.

One caveat about the dishes. They look great but they are THIN. Some people may not like this appearance. Corelle now has a variety of dishware with more traditional thickness. One plus, they stack very tightly.

The coffee mugs are standard stoneware, so don't plan on watching them bounce off the floor if you drop one. Not a big deal, unless your kids drink lots of coffee :-).

Two of the dinner plates had pattern defects. Contacted Corelle and they said they will replace them ASAP. Maybe they are still working out the production glitches with their new line?

Overall a good purchase.

This set is gorgeous. The colors are fantastic and match my deco/retro kitchen perfectly. I love the ceramic mugs and hope they hold up as well as my Corelle glass ones did....I still use the Golden Butterflies from the last century!

Why only 4 stars? Seems Corelle's quality control is not as stringent as it used to be. Each of the 3-sets I ordered, had a few imperfect pieces. Please do not hesitate to buy these wonderful dishes, however, inspect them carefully before throwing away the carton! Amazon is pretty good with returns. They pay for postage (if the return is due to defective merchandise) but make you send back the entire set for replacement/exchange. The set comes with a 3-year warrantee and the Corelle folks do stand behind their products! Hope this review was helpful and that you, too, will buy & enjoy this beautiful dinnerware.

I attempted to get 3 sets of these dishes. Five sets later I still only have two sets because they kept arriving completely broken. The manufacturer packages the sets in boxes to be put out on shelves, not to be put into a larger box and thrown in the mail. Ridiculous waste of dishes and my time b/c Amazon made me go to the Post Office to return them! Return shipping was free, but still.

I recently bought 3 sets of Rola for our family of four. Everything arrived intact except for 1 mug, which had a broken handle (amazing since I live in Hawaii). I opted not to replace it, due to laziness. I love my new dishes. The dishes look just as they looked on the internet, are very light and I still can't believe how many I can fit on my shelf. I chose this pattern over the more attractive "Squared" pattern because it has lunch plates instead of bread plates. The larger lunch plates are much more useful to my family. The lightness is crucial for my kids to carry plates of food to the table. They can handle two plates at once now!

Two things of note.

1. Even though I have 12 full sets, I often run out of the plates before the dishwasher is full (due to the thinness of the dishes, I can fit more into the dishwasher). So I'm going to order 2 more sets.

2. Recently, my husband was getting 4 dinner plates out of the cabinet at once (they were stacked) and hit the wood cabinet door as he was pulling them out. A long, thin sliver chipped off the edge of one of the middle plates. I was shocked. Today, I called Corellle and asked if this is covered by the warranty. They said no, but offered to replace it as a gesture of goodwill. I asked them what is covered under warranty (accidentally bumping a cabinet door seems like normal, everyday use to me). He said it would be covered if the plate broke while being used in the microwave or in the oven. Since he was so nice, I asked him if he would also send me a new mug to replace the one that broke in shipping. :) He said he would, but technically I'm supposed to go through Amazon because Corelle provides them a supply of replacement dishes just for this purpose. I asked him who's more reliable about sending replacement stuff and he said Corelle is.

p.s. He also told me that Rola pattern is very very popular.

I am a faithful Corelle user. When I saw this pattern I had to get it. It is unique but not over the top. I absolutely love my new dishes cannot wait to get the matching additional pieces!!! Just a FYI, I had my last set of Corelle for over 20 years and it still looks great....WOW

I wanted new dishes for a long time, but wasn't sure what kind to buy. It is usually a big investment to buy a whole new set of dishes (nice ones). At Christmas, I noticed that my grandmother used a plain white Corelle plate to display her delicious cake. It brought back memories of my mother using Corelle dishes when I was a child. I knew they were less expensive than some other dishes. So, I looked them up and found out how many choices they offer now!
I am SO happy with my purchase of these! I bought another set of these in a different color so I can mix and match. They are so fun, and very simple and practical......perfect!

I have had the set over a month with no issues! We purchased 2 sets for a service of 8. They arrived quickly and were NOT damaged in any way! The only downfall is the set is kind of small, I think I may order another or maybe 2 more. It is a really cool design and matches well in our kitchen.

I really liked the set. Great design. I was a little set back by the coffee cups being Chinaware, not Vitrelle glassware like the plates. However, I have really enjoyed them. I also liked the seller. I had a problem... one of the plates arrived with a small flaw in the design, but only one out of the entire set. I e-mailed them about the problem, and they simply took care of it by sending me the replacement plate immediately, no questions asked, no extra shipping, no phone call needed. If only the rest of the internet could be that great!

Corelle makes a lot of sense when lots of people may have to use the tableware and also for everyday use for anyone with granite counters as the chip factor for fine china can be tough on the pocketbook. Rola provides a nice retro look. The pattern is only on the plates, the bowls look pretty plain and don't compliment as well as one might like. Overall, a good value for the money and a nice look.

I love Corelle dishes! I bought dishes at the Great Indoors that were soooo pretty, but they chipped and broke so easily! I used them for about a year. In college, I used the same Corelle set for all 4 years. Now, I am 32, and I have just gone back to Corelle... permanently! They don't break, they are light-weight, they are not too hot to handle when you microwave them, and they have such fun, modern colors these days!

I love Corelle, and am happy they came out with their brown, blue, green circles. Matches my style!
