I purchased a couple of these bowls for everday use and they are great. I've been looking forever for a bowl this size, that is simple, light weight and can be used in the microwave. They are great for serving family style or for a one-bowl-meal. I ordered them from Amazon and they came two days early and securely packed. Great price too.

I bought 4 of these one-quart bowls years ago at an outlet store. They are attractive, and are still in great condition after years of use including frequent microwaving and washing in the dishwasher. I often use them to make meal-sized salads for myself. They are also great for nuking soups and stews, as serving dishes, and for popcorn and similar snacks.

I recently decided to replace my old everyday earthenware dishes with a set of Corelle winter white dishes, based in large part on how much I like these one-quart bowls.

Corelle's not the top-selling dishware in the US for no reason. This bowl is well balanced, will hold smallish amount of food for the table, will go in oven or microwave, is white so it goes with many patterns, and I hope will turn out to be as sturdy as Corelle always is!

I love these bowls. They are perfect for soup noodles, salads, or to serve chips. The price is great and so is the promotion.

these are nice all-purpose bowls. they're durable and plain looking. they could be used as a small-ish serving bowl or an eat-right-out-of-bowl (cereal, soup, etc.) they're a little shallow for my personal taste with low walls. most importantly, they help you avoid plastic which leeches chemicals into food.

I had a bowl like this for twenty years that broke (not easy to do with Corelle ware). I am amazed and delighted that I could replace it. The Winter Frost White is in much better taste than the bowl I had. If you have never had Corelle dishes, they are great. I recommend the small bowls too (which I already had bought elsewhere.) E. T. We have long used these bowls for salad, cereal and soup and normally have purchased them at Walmart. Amazon had them less pricey and in stock, whereas I couldn't even find them on the Walmart site. Internet shopping is our preference since we live out of the city and I was delighted to be able to order the exact pieces I needed. Shipping was reasonable and took no time at all to receive. Amazon continues to be a great source of goods for us.

Corelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember.
We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match.

Pros:
-Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don't break easily.
-Scratch & knife resistant.
-Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.
-Microwave safe
-Easy to clean
-Dishwasher safe

I warm up leftovers in the oven.

These bowls are lightweight and easy to manage while hot (with pot holders, of course) yet they are sturdy.

I normally use this bowl and the matching large dish. I place the food on the plate and use the bowl to cover it.

My food normally warms up in about 10 minutes or so. It comes out piping hot.

I remove the bowl and serve the plate.

Also, I have taken the food off of the heated plate and placed it on one that is room temperature, then run HOT water over it to cool it down some what.

Even with baked on stains, I haven't had a problem getting the dishes clean. Either I can soak it and scrub it with a plastic scrubber or put it in the dishwasher and run a pot scrubber cycle.

These bowls are great for soups and salads as well.

I have tons of them. They stack nicely in a drawer which is where I store my plates and bowls.

I have had only one or two to break in the 15 or 20 years I have been using them. I had one to break about 4 weeks back, but it broke in half, not in a thousand shards.

I highly recommend these dishes.

Love these serving bowls to match the dinnerware! They are lightweight and a wonderful
change from heavy stoneware! The white color matches EVERYTHING I have!
