The bowls that come with the corelle sets are too big to serve smaller portions. I've been looking for a small but lightweight bowl to serve fruits and desserts. These bowls were perfect so I bought 12 of them and got free shipping. They arrived quite fast and all in one piece. Thanks amazon!

These bowls are perfect for my young children. They perfectly match the large 28-oz. bowls that come in the 5-piece snack set from the same line (they look the same in design, just smaller). So we now have the adult and child versions! We had some plastic bowls that just weren't cutting it and didn't work for soups/rice etc. These are perfect!

These bowls are wonderful! My 3 y.o. daughter uses them for cereal and fruit (they have a shallower, wider bowl appropriate for dinner type eating), and we use them to feed our 1 y.o. his goop too. They are shatter resistant (not shatter proof). The kids have dropped them numerous times, and only 2 have minor chips on them. I know, that doesn't sound perfect, but the percentage of chipping when taking into consideration the total number of accidents is quite impressive. Also, the fact that they're made out of safe, non-toxic glass, not questionable plastic (BPA-free doesn't mean there aren't other harmful chemicals in plastic!), makes it a no-brainer in our family! Also, we have all white dinnerware, so these match our sets quite nicely.

I was expecting a much bigger bowl for $5.00. It's too small for a soup bowl, but serves well for a small dessert bowl. These bowls would be good if you have small children. They are the perfect size for children's snacks. I haven't dropped the bowl on my tile floors so I can speak to the durability of the bowl. It washes well in the dishwasher.

I could have sworn that the product description said "4 bowls" when I ordered this and my invoice says "4 bowls" but I only got 1 bowl. The size is nice (Small dessert size) but this is ridiculous for 1 bowl and I would not have bought it if I had known it was only 1. They should make that clearer in the description because the other Corelle Livingware items I bought came in sets of 4.

It's too expensive to buy from Amazon. Walmart has it and it costs around $2.86 plus tax. After I found out Walmart has cheaper price, I bought more from them.

I love Corelle and love the size of these bowls but assumed that for this price it was a set of 4. Very, VERY disappointed when only 1 bowl came.

We bought these bowls to add to a set we already had but found out that these are smaller than our existing bowls. I have found that I like them and the versatility they give us for smaller portions. They are in between a normal cereal bowl and a ramekin in size. Very easy to clean and store.

I love these bowls! They are the perfect size for alot of things. I now have all 3 sizes and I am in heaven. I use them for cereal as well as desserts. I would definately reccommend these to anyone. I got them quickly which was wonderful.

This is a very functional soup and dessert bowl. I only wish that you had one in the Shadow Iris pattern.
