Bought this today for another beach house. It's as good looking in person as you see here. Bought black handled steak knives and forks, spoons etc. Too cool! I use bright colors in beach house and this just gives a bunch on the table as great decor balance. I have Livingware at my other beach house and love it. Doesn't take up much space in the cabinet and great for children yet, elegant enough for my guest. Yes, it has been dropped on the floor by mistake and it held up. Not saying if you take a hammer to it it won't break, but these are tough. I'm sure someone will write about negatives no matter how great an item is...just ignore. I promise you that you will not regret unless you are expecting china for this price or it arrives damaged as in any shipment that could happen. Just depends on your life style. The set is light weight and that is what I wanted.

When I was 17 (I am 54 now) I was married (what a mistake!)and was given my first set of Corelle as a shower gift. It was brand new at that time and touted to be unbreakable. Believe it or not I still have several pieces of that original set hanging around. I can't bear to dispose of such rugged and sentimental pieces. I agree with the other reviewer (although I don't have even one beach house, lol). This is great dinnerware. It is tough, although I HAVE broken some pieces in the past, and it DOES shatter! But I like it because it is very practical, lightweight, easy to wash-food does not stick to it, classic in design, extremely resistant to breakage and it does conserve space. I am buying my third set now. Can't beat this price!

This dinnerware is perfect for everyday casual dining. However, I would have preferred the mugs to be made of the same unbreakable material as the plates. The mugs are made of inexpensive ceramics & are quite breakable. Still a very nice set for the price. Very pleased with Amazon's packaging & prompt delivery. Thank you!

My daughter is a college student and needed dinnerware for her apt. I gave her my old corelle that I used for the last 30 plus years and still looks great and I ordered new City Block for myself. It was delivered promptly and packaged well. I really like the design and hope this corelle lasts as long as my first set.

Corelle is a great product. It's durable, lightweight, and easy to clean. One reason we chose Corelle is because my spouse has bad hand arthritis, and we needed lighter plates to pick up. Another huge plus for us is that it's made in the USA, so you're supporting American labor when you purchase it. I must make one correction to that: the cups are made in China.
Corelle has kept up on trends and makes their dinnerware in a lot of modern shapes and patterns.

These plates are very lightweight and elegant. The set has everything I would use on a daily basis as well as a set of nice mugs. The price seems to have gone up since I purchased them a few months ago, but 30 bucks is still a bargain. The box is packed very well and it was easy to unpack.

We were very pleased to receive this order in a timely manner in perfect condition. The product is the high quality which I expected!

Corelle dinnerware is classic! After using a non-Corelle design for years and watching it chip and crack and get thrown away, I had to go to the gold-standard. Love the dishes!

Correll quality is always good and this item is no exception. Design is simple and elegant. Great buy for the price

I like my dishes. There are a few small flaws in them but this is a nice set to own.They are very easy to clean the food slides right off.
