Each place setting includes a 10-1/4-inch dinner plate, a 6-3/4-inch bread-and-butter plate, an 18-ounce soup bowl, and an 11-ounce stoneware mug. Squares in turquoise, olive, taupe, and chocolate contrast with a white background along the plates’ wide brims, while slender bands in matching colors circle the rims of the bowls. The rich chocolate-hued mugs offer roomy handles for easy transportation.

Corelle thermally compressed three layers of glass product to craft the lightweight plates and bowls. Crack- and chip-resistant, the tableware also combats stains, scratches, and fading. The mugs feature stoneware construction. The set is dishwasher- and microwave- safe, while its plates and bowls are oven-safe ovens up to 350 degrees F. For the best care, avoid soaking the mugs for prolonged periods of time. Corelle discourages the use of abrasives or scouring on these pieces. If a pattern can be both modern and classic, this is it. We love these dishes. The pattern is a great neutral color, but in a bold, modern pattern. I love how tight these stack in the cupboards - they take up half as much space as our old pfaltzgraff dishes. The dinner sized plates are great. The bowls are good sized for cereal or soup. The mugs have a nice large handle, and we love that they are real mugs, not teacups. The only complaint is that the salad plates are much too small. Our old dishes had a more moderate sized plate that was great for snack, but these are about the size of one slice of bread. Overall, we are very pleased with these dishes and are buying another set.

I wanted an inexpensive set of dishes that would not break to use in our travel trailer. I like the colors in these dishes, and my husband really likes the coffee cups (brown and well-made). These dishes have traveled thousands of miles and are in perfect condition. Amazon beat all of the others in price, too!

My mom had Corelle dishes when I was growing up, and they were dropped many times. They never broke! I love the fun pattern of these dishes and you can't beat the price! I will be buying a second set.
