I have three sons, ages 6, 9 and12. Corelle livingware is a great benefit for our active, and occassionally clumsy family. It doesn't break. I'm very pleased with both the product and the price. My only complaint is that I wish Corelle had included mugs made out of the same Corelle ware material, instead of stoneware mugs. The stoneware mugs are not easily stackable in the cupboard, and of course, they are breakable (though we haven't broken one yet).

Would give these 5 stars because of price and corelle is great for everyday. Was a little disappointed because these are a true red. Very bright red while i was expecting a deeper red as shown on picture.

i was disappointed to see that the mugs are not corelle,but were made of stone ....they broke after few months(all of them)... plates were corelle material and impressive but when i looked closely all the plates had an elevated point,like a boil when you trace the plate...i mean the finishing at edges were not proper...anyway that was not much problem but the mugs were really unacceptable..i could get corelle mugs with plates from corelle factory and would not have to pay $9 for shipping.....i payed 38 dollars in total...

This set looks pretty good. The coffee cups are very good. The plates and bowls? Eh. Average construction, at best. They are light and easily broken. Oh, when they do break, they break into 100s of tiny pieces. Dropping a plate turns into an hour long session of hunting down the tiny shards of whatever cheap material was used to make the plate.

I gave them three stars because they can actually hold food and drink...but wouldn't buy them again if I had a choice.

I bought this thinking it was a nice deal from corelle and amazon both of which seem quite reliable. this set does not match the corelle standards whatsoever. the mugs are not made of the same material as the rest of the set. they do not even match the color of the plates and bowls at all. it looks tacky to say the least...i have returned the package and am awaiting a reimbursement now. do not buy this set.

What a huge disappointment in these plates. The red stipe border wasn't painted all the way around the salad plates and bowls. In some places dye was light and missing and I think these are Corelle Seconds. 1 Cup arrived chipped and another chipped right away. The plates and bowls also seem smaller than other correlle sets I have ordered. For the price I could have purchased a Corelle set at Wal-Mart for the same price.

We have alot of dinner guests and everyone has commented how modern and fresh looking our new corelle is - we love it!!

I buy a new set every 5 years or so, just for a change. I love the look of this set, but was disappointed with the mugs. Not that they are stoneware, but because the have a gray cast to them. My last set had blue cups made of stoneware, but matched the plates perfectly. I wonder if these are seconds. I have read other complaints about receiving them broken. Mine were in perfect condition, but I must say the packing was minimal and I expected the worst. If the off color of the mug is not an issue, you will be pleased with this set.

Great kitchen tools. I have ordered two sets of this everyday 'retro' dinnerware that looks like it reemerged from the fifties. What's not to like? Durable, lightweight (would be great for camping and picnics), and inexpensive. Due to it's thinness it stacks neatly taking up less cabinet space. It's slick surface cleans easily and I find that during food prep I often clean them by hand instead of the waiting to ship them to dishwasher = Most foods do not cling after a quick hot water rinse. Ovenproof but no open flame seems to be it's only limitation. If you have a recipe that calls for sliding or flipping the food from pan to plate and back to the pan without breaking apart-once again the slick surface is a plus. No compaints as to it's appearance as it's design resembles higher priced products that break fade and chip easily. Save your family china for the Holidays.

I ordered two sets and found that 3 dishes were warped. I expected Corelle to exchange the defective dishes, but they would not. They told me as long as the dishes sit flat on the table, they will not exchange them. The edges on one side of the dish are higher than the other, so they look ridiculous.
