Corelle Livingware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Day Dream

I decided to switch from my everyday chipped, broken and incomplete bulky dishes to these everyday dishes because they are thin yet durable and they stack so tightly together, such a space saver! In the pattern, the dark outline reminds me of an artist's doodle while the colors make me think of a soft day dream, good combination. At first before I received the dishes, I didn't think I was going to like the color of the mugs, it seemed babyish (but I loved the pattern of the dishes more than I disliked the color of the mugs so I ordered anyway). Once I got to see the mugs in person, I loved their color as well. It's a very fresh and airy color. I really love these dishes!

I came back and ordered a 2nd set because I love these dishes so much! And the price is awesome! I'm so glad I didn't let the color of the mugs deter me from ordering this pattern!

This dish set is alright, but not nearly as pretty as I had imagined it would be. I couldn't decide between two sets, so I ordered one of each, and my other design (Summer Meadow)is absolutely beautiful.

On the bottom of each Corelle dish is the logo/made in USA stamp...on one of the dessert plates that stamp is on the front of the dish as well as the back. So I need to try to see what can be done about that.

Overall this is a nice set, just not nearly as lovely as the Summer Meadow, in my opinion.

I bought these dishes so that I would have enough plates to be able to use the dishwasher in my new apartment. I wanted something microwave and dishwasher safe that would compliment my existing set of plates. I was happy with the pattern. It is carefree and whimsical with butterflies and flowers drawn in dark grey and colored violet and light blue. The mugs are a much nicer blue that what I had expected. They are sort of a robins egg blue. They are thin and lightweight which is good for storage. But you should be extra careful when loading and unloading the dishwahser. One plate is already chipped and I don't even know when it happened since I don't recall ever dropping or banging any of the plates.

My review would not be complete without first warning you of what I experienced unpacking the box. I opened the box on my kitchen counter so that I could unload the new plates directly into the dishwasher. It was a good thing that I did this because the dishes were dirty! The top layer of plates had dirt on them; I overlooked this since warehouses can be dirty and dusty and I was washing them anyway. But the second and third layers of plates, bowls etc were GREASY!! There was a fine layer of grease on them as iff they had sat in a kitchen for months while someone deep fried their every meal! I had already been tossing all of the packaging material right into the trash so I just kept unloading right into the dishwasher but I was definitely skeeved.

Eating on this dinnerware makes you happy. Especially the mugs when drinking coffee or tea. Corelle is known to be a company which makes dishes that last. I'm satisified.

I've only had this set for about two weeks and the only thing to really comment on is that it is a beautiful set (I especially love the robin's egg blue coffee cups).
As most people know Corelle is extrememly durable, but when it does break--get ready to scour your floor for a long time looking for tiny little shards.
ps. picking up minute, hard to see pieces of glass (after sweeping) is easier to do with a piece of soft white bread.

My mother in law's arthritis demanded that she give up her heavy stoneware dishes and get something lighter weight. I surprised her with this set and she loves it. The weight is perfect, they're not easily broken, and the pattern is very cute.

I LOOKED AT ALL DIFFERENT STORES AND SITES AND COULDN'T FIND THIS PATTERN OF CORELLE LIVINGWARE ANYWHERE. SO I TURNED TO YOUR SITE AND FOUND SEVERAL DIFFERENT PLACES THAT HAD THIS PATTERN AVAILABLE. THIS WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY DAUGHTER-IN=LAW. SHE LOVED IT!

I bought two sets of this particular design. My whole family enjoy using them every day. There are beautiful, light weight and very easy to clean. I went ahead bought two more sets of a different pattern. I plan to use them instead of paper plates for paties.

This is my second Corelle set. I purchased this set because I have company coming over and wanted enough plates for everyone. I love to use the smaller plates for my younger kids. My son has tossed his plate form his high chair numerous times and it hasn't shattered. The mugs are also really nice. would buy again :)

This set is absolutely beautiful- I bought two sets. They are basically true to color- except they're just a tiny bit darker (probably a photography lighting issue). It's quite girly, but my husband even loves it. My kids have dropped the plates several times already and not a scratch. I love that they take up less space in the dishwasher too- I can actually stack the bowls upright on the top rack- couldn't do that with my Ikea bowls! It also helps with portion control on things like ice cream and cereal. The mugs are very sturdy, and the handles are very ergonomic! Helps it stay balanced when full of coffee.
