on 12/29/07 I bought 2 corelle 1 quart serving bowls and 2 28 oz. super soup/cereal bowls, both with a red band around the edge, and they match my dishes, which are Corelle Urban in red, perfectly. They are all good sizes for serving bowls, which is what I bought them for. They are just the bowls that I wanted.

I have grown up with the standard sized 18oz corelle bowls that come with the set, and was overjoyed to find this one through Amazon, sold as individual pieces. As I travelled a lot, I only bought 4 to start, but now as I am planning to settle down soon, I want a full 8. I've got them on my wishlist, PRAYING another 4 become available.

they are the perfect size for so many things, and Corelle has always been so nice and lightweight and long-lasting.

Attractively designed, yes. Quality, yes. Deep yes, but the width isn't much better than the standard Corelle soup/cereal bowls. I ordered 2 with the navy rim to match my Classic Cafe Blue dinnerware. Disappointing. Corelle's 20 oz. Pasta bowls are perfect and can accommodate a nice amount of soup, cereal, and even entrees. If only they were offered in color coordinating bands like these. :(

There's not much you can say-- it's a Corelle bowl. The only thing I can say is you can get them for about $3 less at WalMart-other than that, it serves it's purposes well!

We have china for formal use, but CorelWare is unbeatable for every day use. It is light (much better than crockery), thin (takes very little space), and almost unbreakable. It looks quite decent, but certainly not fancy.

We have found this bowl to be very useful as a small serving bowl. It is just the right size for two or three people. It is way too big for a cereal bowl for a more-or-less normal person.

I was looking for a pho bowl. This ain't it. But it is a great bowl, just too small for an Asian soup bowl.

Works well in the microwave.

I ordered this bowl because I have none in my room for the ramen that I bought at Walmart the other day. This bowl turns out to be the perfect size for my Maruchan ramen :). That's not the only plus to this bowl. It's microwavable, feels real good when you're holding it, and is pretty durable. I banged it against my wooden desk and not a crack. I'm pretty happy about my purchase and if it does eventually break, I most likely will come back and order a new one.

Just bought two in case I wasn't satisfied. Now, I use them for almost everything. At least everything they can be used for in the desert.

I wanted a bowl with some depth for soup and cereal. These are fine but just a tad too big! I use them anyway and they are very nice.

These are deeper than they look. I can empty a whole can of soup into it and it's only half full! I got it on sale so it was a great deal.
