Corelle's renowned durability of their product ultimately influenced my decision of purchasing this set. I wanted something simple but not overly boring; so I decided on the Enhancements design. I like the simplicity of the pattern around the border that adds a certain elegance to the white coloration. My only disappointment is that the cups from their stoneware line, which aren't as "white" in color as the rest of the set. Unfortunately, the stoneware is easily breakable and "chip-able," unlike the typical Corelle's product. Hence, it earned the 4 stars instead of 5.

I bought this set to "extend" a patterned Enhancements set I have that is no longer available. The plates and bowls match exactly as to shape, style, and material. However, the cups, while the "look" is the same, are stonewear instead of Corelle material; they are heavier and thicker, and the color is not as white as the rest of the dishes. It doesn't say that anywhere in the product description that I read.

I just ordered these dishes and have been using them for about a week and a half. They are definitely better looking than your typical Corelle dish but still have the resistance to chipping and stack very nicely. I fit the dinner plates, salad plates and bowls all on one shelf in my cabinet which was wonderful!

The mugs are made of stoneware and not the typical Corelle material which is a little annoying since it makes them a different color than everything else (including their saucers). Also, I ordered the tea pot and cream and sugar bowl and they are also the stoneware. While it isn't a big deal, I really wish the mugs were made of the same material as to my eye the coloring is noticibly different.

That said, I would still buy these dishes again. I like the simple, plain white styling and how compactly they fit together for the cabinet.

I was so tired of lifting those heavy stoneware dishes in and out of my dishwasher and cupboards. This dinnerware is light, and the white color can be dressed up for any occasion.

Dishes are very chip-resistant. Dishes have not etched in our dishwasher over a few months of use (and counting), and still have a glossy appearance--except for the cups. The cups have been stained on the inside with coffee residue. So our white cups now look faint brown on the inside. Aside from that, the dishes have been great and I would purchase them again, as I consider the coffee staining a minor nuisance.

This set is the ultimate Corelle dinnerware, in my opinion. It is lightweight, extremely durable, and goes with any table accessories you might have. I esp. like the size of the mugs, not too big or too small. The stack of plates is short compared to the same number of stoneware plates we had. Also, they are so much lighter in weight; a pleasure to remove from the cupboard and set the table. It was a wonderful Christmas gift!

I really do love these dishes. I bought two sets a couple months ago and they have been working out great. I replaced my old Corelle set that we inherited from another family member when we got married 18 yrs ago. This new set is of even better quality than my old set. I read the other reviews before purchasing these and noted they talk about the mugs being a different color. I do think Corelle must have fixed this problem, because my cups match perfectly. I highly recommend this Dinnerware set. They are neutral and go with any decor. Love these dishes!

This is my second set of Corelle in the Enhancements pattern. I love the way Corelle Livingware lasts and lasts without looking old. Comparably priced dinnerware of other brands seems to last about a year until I need to start replacing pieces. This choice was made so that I could mix with other china pieces that I have and still love (but cannot get replacements for).

I purchased 20 place settings to use for holiday entertaining. Hauling out the good china was so tiresome for big gatherings, and there are so many younger kids about it just didn't make sense to use it anymore. I purchased these because they were simple and I thought with the nice tablecloths, flowers, candles, and everything else on the tables, simple would be the way to go. I love that these dishes stack into such small piles and that they are so light weight that they make clean up easy. They are also easy to handle in a buffet situation. I also love the pasta bowls, which are excellent for salads. On the negative side, the cups are a bit small and it really bugs me that the cups are made of earthenware. They look and feel so different from the rest of the set and they chip easily. I purchased my sets at a Corelle store and got a little better deal than Amazon's regular price.

Corelle is the best dinnerware I have ever purchased and throughout the years I have had many sets. This is very light weight and holds up through thick and thin. You can drop it and it doesn't break. If you get a bad stain it will clean up easily with an SOS pad. I personally bought this set for my office. We needed a coffee service for 4. I needed cups and saucers. I searched many web sites and this was by far the best Value.
For the same price as just the coffee service - we now have a full set of dishes.
