First one showed up broken.
Amazon was really on the ball and was amazing to have me a replacement the next day.
How amazing is that?

I rate it 4 stars simply because I wish it was a little taller.

Smaller napkins only get held half way up and flop over.

This wouldn't be ideal for larger napkins at all.

However, it matches the decor of everthing else we bought over a year ago...

Evidently i'm the only person who didn't get one broken.
Mine arrived just fine, but looked as if it might have been used or a return, got black marks along the bottom, and the box's tape had been cut.

Only the bottom was marred though, the rest is in fine shape.

Works great for my standard napkins, matches the plates and salt/pepper shaker and placemats well.

My reason for four stars as opposed to 5 is that the bottom is just roughened ceramic, so you can't just set this on a wooden table without something under it. I'm planning on getting some small felt circles to stick on the bottom to keep it from scratching anything, but they should've done that as part of the manufacturing process...

Looked high and low for this napkin holder. Finally found it here. Arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. Matches my dishes like a dream.

If I had it to do over again, I would buy a plain white holder. This really doesnt match extremely well. But not really worth paying to ship it back. DO NOT BUY THE MILK AND SUGAR HOLDER IN THE SIMPLE LINES STYLE.....you will end up sending it back....far worse than the napkin holder.

So far I have not gotten a napkin Holder that is in one piece.
They arrive broken and leaking small slivers of glass from the box.

This is very nice napkin holder, but first one arrived broken. However, Amazon has an excellent return service.

I received this cute napkin holder for xmas, and it was cracked in two. Now usually i would just take this as it was shipped and it cracked on accident. But i also received the cream and sugar bowl from the same company and it was also broken. Other than than it was cute!!
