This is an exceptional set from Corelle. It is heavy, like stoneware, contemporary in design, and durable, due to the Corelle label. I purchased all the accessory pieces as well, and it sets a beautiful table

This is a new line from Corning. The plates (dinner and Salad) are about twice as thick as the every-day Corelle. They are made of the same glass material as all Corelle Livingware. The Soup Bowls, Mugs and serving pieces are actually a high-quality STONEWARE. All are oven / microwave / dishwasher safe.
We have enjoyed the luxury feel of the set, heftier than the lighter Corelle.

I love my new diningware set. It's just as pretty as the picture, well even prettier on my table. The service was great.
