Fabio Biondi delights yet again with a spirited - even saucy - rendition of Corelli's opus. This is not the ponderous or prosaic Corelli you may have heard elsewhere. This is the real McCoy (or as close as we in the 21st century will come to it). Certain academic listeners may find Biondi's vitality and humor to be cheeky or brash. I think it's delightful.
