Overall, this book did not measure up to expectations. Thank you for the opportunity to express my feelings!
I do agree with some of the comments that the artwork in this book (and Corgiville Kidnapping) are not quite up to Tasha's usual standards. I do not think this is due to any printing errors, so much as Tasha's failing eyesight as she got older. I remember seeing a television program about Tasha in which she was shown working on "The Great Corgiville Kidnapping". You could tell from the shots of her applying the watercolor that the book had a more "sketchy" look than "Corgiville Fair". The drawings are not quite as "finished" as her earlier works, and the color palette was darker.
However, there are still some fine illustrations, and you can see the artistic vision behind even the more sketchier ones. "Corgiville Christmas" is a sweet book for the holidays that I recommend for Tasha's fans and for corgi lovers.
