5.0 out of 5 stars Well made
I love this style of flask and was glad to get exactly what I expected. First thing I did was rinse it out then filled it up with the Knot. Then I laid it on one side for two days on top of a piece of paper, then on the other side, then on it's top to see if there were any leaks, two days each of course.... and again I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was not...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the quality I was expecting.
The flask is attractive enough, but was a little smaller than I was expecting. I can chalk that up to my own unfamiliarity with flasks (this was a gift). However, the part that I was disappointed in is that when we filled up the flask with water to make sure it wouldn't leak, it rusted within 24 hours. And because the mouth is so small, cleaning it out is nearly...

Excellent for a nice non-bulky pocket flask.

And because the mouth is so small, cleaning it out is nearly impossible. The good news, I guess, is that it didn't leak. I would send it back due to the rusting, but my boyfriend refuses to return a gift from me. So it will sit on a shelf with dark liquor to mask the rust. Not exactly the gift I was hoping for.

Ive had this flask for a few months and it worked great at the beginning but last week i noticed it was leaking from the sides of the glass. The glass isn't cracked or anything it looks like the glass has shifted a little bit to the side and its causing it to leak.

Looks Great though!

It is beautiful, but worthless as a flask if it leaks. The glass did not crack, but does leak around the edges.

5.0 out of 5 stars My precious!!, May 4, 2011

I love this thing!!! Looks exactly as pictured. Everyone keeps asking where I got it -- guys think it's wicked and girls think it's cute. :)

Sturdy construction, too; I pressed on the glass porthole pretty firmly and it gave no hint of budging. Cap screws on and off neatly and snugly; no wiggling or misaligned threads.

Only odd thing I noticed was that both the description on Amazon and the box that the flask came in stated that the flask holds four ounces, yet the bottom of the flask is stamped "5oz" -- so I tested it myself, and if you fill it *completely* full it holds nearly five ounces.

Bonus: the back is so high-polished, you can use it as a mirror to check how trashed you look. ;)

UPDATE: I have had this flask for several months now, still no signs of rusting or the porthole coming loose. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Flask, March 17, 2010

I ordered this flask for myself because its different from most flasks someone would carry. I really like it, its sturdy, no leaks, holds enough (5 oz.) The only add on I would make would be for the cap to be connected to the flask as in other flasks, but its not a big flaw at all, just a note. I would buy this flask again for a gift or if anything happened to the one I just got.

My intention was to get myself a flask for my 21st, and after much searching I came across this one. The construction is sturdy and doesn't leak, it holds plenty (while all material about it says 4 oz, the bottom says 5 oz), and the design is classy. Looks great when filled with a good bourbon, and easily fits a steampunk theme.

I bought this flask as a Christmas present. My biggest concern based on reviews of other flasks was purchasing one that did not leak. Not only is this a very handsome flask, it definitely did not leak!

I would highly recommend this flask. It will easily hold 5oz.

it is just as it is pictured. Looks nice and my boyfriend is into the whole boat thing , so he really liked this product. He does use it, no leaks, and he says it is just the right size.

i got two of these, intending them both to gifts. now i am shopping for a new second present. The flask looks nice, the seal works great, which was my one concern, but i had no spills or leaks when I used it so no worries. and, you can see inside it! which means you can make sure nothing nasty is goin' on up in there.
