5.0 out of 5 stars Best treatment for seriously dry skin I've found

5.0 out of 5 stars Best treatment for seriously dry skin I've found, October 12, 2007

My daughter and I both suffer from severely dry skin -- bumpy, cracked, peeling, scary alligator-type stuff. We've tried every expensive brand of lotion on the market ... each time a new one comes out, we're first in line to try it to see if THIS will finally be the magic cure we've been searching for. Well, surprise, surprise. Nothing's worked. Things would help a little, but never enough to make a big difference. On a whim last week, I bought a bottle of Corn Huskers Lotion at the grocery store. I remembered my grandfather using it on his hands after a day working outdoors on his ranch. So I figured if Corn Huskers Lotion could help his dry, parched "ranch hands," maybe it could do something with our "normal" but severely dry skin. Well, guess what? IT WORKS! Better than any of those other expensive products with the slick advertising campaigns, fancy packaging, and designer scents. I'm now a sold-out believer in the wonders of Corn Huskers Lotion! If you've tried everything else and nothing seems to work, give this a try. What have you got lose? Besides, it's cheap. And cheap is good. ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars It Works!!!!!, November 15, 2007
I work in the medical field and wash my hands several times a day. My hands become dry easily while at work. During the winter fall and winter months the dry skin is worse. Corn Huskers Lotion is the only one I have been able to find that works without leaving my hands oily.

5.0 out of 5 stars This works! Epecially as Aftershave!, February 16, 2009
I recently got into double edge wet shaving. One of the problems I had was to find products that were typical aftershaves. Upon rewatching mantic59 youtube shave tutor vids, he mentioned an alternative to aftershaves was Corn Huskers lotion. Because it had pretty much the same ingredients as other after shaves marked for wet shaves. So I went to the store, five bucks, and put some on after shaving. Yes, this cools the skin, closes it up, and adds protective layer. Not greasy or gooey, this works as regular aftershave.

5.0 out of 5 stars Corn Huskers - Years of wonderful use!, January 7, 2011
This review is from: Corn Huskers Oil-Free Hand Lotion -- 7 fl oz (Misc.)
I have a had a problem of having severely dry hands, for as long as I can remember, and I am 42 years old. I have tried over the counter and prescription creams and lotions. These usually leave my hands oily for a long time after. I have even tried the creams that recommend using cotton gloves at night. My dad has the same problems and he gave me of some of the Corn Huskers Lotion and I was hooked on it, ever since.

This lotion does not leave a oily film on my hands and has a pleasant fragrance, and brings relief almost immediately and is the best lotion that can keep my hands soft.

Working in the medical field and washing my hands almost constantly, really can dry them out fast. A quick application of this and within a few moments, the only thing that remains on my hand is the nice fragrance.

Hope this help you... because it helps me!

I have consistently dry hands, with painful patches of extremely dry skin that never heal. Until now the only product that made any difference whatsoever was Bag Balm, which provided temporarily relief but was extremely greasy and inconvenient.

After reading reviews for Corn Huskers Lotion I decided to try it. It absorbs into the skin completely in under a minute. It truly disappears, there is no greasy feel or film or absolutely any residue left on the skin. When I saw how quickly it absorbed I was incredibly skeptical that it could possibly cure my dry skin. Nevertheless, I stuck with it, applying it a few times a day. After 3-4 days my skin was truly transformed. It is so much different than any results I have ever seen before. Other creams and lotions soothe the dryness and irritation, but Corn Huskers did so much more, it actually changed the way my skin behaves. I can skip lotion for a day without waking up to ugly and painful dry hands the next morning. CORN HUSKERS DOES NOT WORK IMMEDIATELY. If you apply it once and don't see a difference, do not stop using the product. Give it a few days and you will see a huge difference in your skin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't Live Without Products!, July 23, 2010
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Corn Huskers Oil-Free Hand Lotion -- 7 fl oz (Misc.)
I'm currently on the HCG Protocol and someone recommended this product; I'm so glad they did. The title was a bit scary for me at first, but right after using this product I became hooked instantaneously! I suspect I'll purchase this product for the rest of my life, it has replaced all of my lotions. It smells wonderful and it goes on nice and smooth. It looks sticky but it's not. You will not be disappointed, I promise. I will purchase from this seller again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gentle and Effective, February 3, 2010
This review is from: Corn Huskers Oil-Free Hand Lotion -- 7 fl oz (Misc.)
I've had dry hands for awhile now. Not just a little dry and uncomfortable, but burning and cracking dry. I've tried so many creams and lotions and not one did what I needed: ease the pain and not leave so much oil on the surface of the skin. Often, the creams I have tried actually were painful and exacerbated the discomfort when I applied them. Cornhuskers works! At times when I do want to apply another lotion that has a bit of oil in it but can't because it would be too painful, I'll apply Cornhuskers first to allow my hands to heal a bit, and THEN put on the other lotion. It's a wonderful first step in the healing process. As an aside, it seems lately that more and more hand creams are using glycerin as well as some oils as a sort of dual moisturizer. Before these hand creams came on the market, I'd frequently mix a little bit of oil based moisturizer into the cornhuskers to get the benefits of both. Quick absorbtion of the cornhuskers and the longer lasting effectiveness of the oil.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best lotion there is, February 10, 2009
Corn Huskers is the best lotion there is out there, especially for the price. I had completely forgotten about it and I was talking with a coworker today who was using some other lotion and she had to keep reapplying it. So that jogged my memory. I used to be a zookeeper and always had Corn Huskers at my side. I was always washing my hands, and working outside especially in the winter months did a job on my hands. COrn Huskers was my salvation. This is a great buy, you will not be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST thing to use on your feet, February 22, 2008

There are many products out there but nothing works better to keep your feet soft and callous free for such a small price. Use a nail file/buffer on your heels and calloused areas first, then apply a coat of Corn Huskers before bedtime, and let dry thoroughly, about 10 minutes. It is not oily, so no worry about staining your sheets. Your feet will be soft in a very short time. You will be surprised how different they will feel and fast. Continue maintenance 3 or 4 times a week before bed to keep your heels soft and snag-free. I can't be without it.
