4.0 out of 5 stars For those who need or want to know more about this vital part of the food system, July 31, 2007
This review is from: Corn: Its Origin, Evolution and Improvement (Belknap Press) (Hardcover)
Interesting, in places fascinating reading, about one of the major plant foods. Corn, maize, whatever you call it, you can't escape its presence in the grocery store, in your home, in your business. A plant that appears to have chosen domestication, corn could not survive without human intervention, human agriculture.
