I only purchased this book because I needed It for my Freshman Seminar class in college. To my surprise this book is actually way more helpful then I expected, everything I thought I could never learn(i.e Time management, stress relief etc..) is thought in this book and I love it <3
definitely a must have for any college student regardless of weather is is required reading :-)

With this book, I was never unprepared. The assignments were given in a timely manner, questions was not hard answer from the way the book was setup. This book also is a great tool to help you retain what you've learned so you won't be stumped on tests.

Written for idiots.,
This review is from: Cornerstone: Creating Success Through Positive Change (6th Edition) (Paperback)
I had to read this book for a college course. I read four pages from the first chapter and went on to answer three chapters' questions simply by guessing. Maybe I've been jaded by unusually difficult engineering courses (I doubt this) but this book makes you feel like an idiot just reading it. A good example is that they had a page of material for a scenario of a failing student committing to join a study group. She broke it down into 5 steps, made a mission statement and who bunch of other worthless steps opposed to just going over and asking "can I join your study group?" This book seems full of material just like that, I'm quite sure I could give this to a ten year old and have them comprehend every bit of it.

I have ordered many used books online before without a problem. Most come in basically brand new condition. This book I ordered however was horrible. I can expect the previous owners would write in the book a little bit, or highlight some pages to refeer back to. This book does have some writing in it which isnt the issue. I received this book mangled like it had been thrown in a dumpster, someone garbage picked it and desided to sell it!!! The book itself is roughly 400 pages cover to back. This book is missing exactly 47 and a half of those 400 pages.
I would have to say when I contacted the company they were very quick to respond. They sent me a return shipping label right away with the responding email. They are unable to replace it because they dont have any additional copies to offer me. However this book shouldnt have even been sold. buyer beware

This product was never delivered to me. I emailed the seller three times and never got a response. I had to file an A to Z claim on it.
