Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback
This is an excellent book with strong narrative, interesting stories, and characters with great depth and feeling. Written from the perspective of a young girl coming of age during the Great Depression, it highlights the "untold" story of children growing up during our country's most desperate economical time. It is witty, lively, and full of good moral lessons.
