5.0 out of 5 stars Desert Approved
This product was well worth the money spent. I work in Iraq with very dusty and dirty conditions. The product rules the desert. The Spin and speed ratings are spot on.

I bought a pair of these rackets for a facility I manage that has a ping pong table in the break room. The table gets a lot of play (probably ~30-50 games per day) and these paddles held up about 3 months. That is about 3x longer than a standard middle of the road racket. I was slightly disappointed that the speed of the racket wasn't better. You need to hit the ball...

5.0 out of 5 stars I Like IT, December 30, 2010

My employer bought a Ping Pong Table. I haven't played Ping Pong in 30 years & wanted a pimpled rubber surface, which is what I use to play with.

Speed is my game & I didn't want to spend big bucks for a "competition paddle", I wanted something that hopefully would help me be competitive with younger players that play every day.

At first, I couldn't keep the ball on the table or over the net. With some practice, my game is coming back & I'm now competitive with all but the top 3 players, which I've not yet played, however, I've been playing sporadically & only play a couple of time a week.

I really like the rubber grip & everyone who has held my paddle like the feel of the grip.

I'm very comfortable with the speed, spin, & control of the paddles' surface.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it, December 26, 2010

I used to use a stiga assult raquette but this topped that raquett completely. At first i was uncertain on weather or not this raquette was worth getting. The air drive system is bull but it is enjoyable to play with and it gets great spin. However, I play Ping pong and tennis near every day and would not recomend this to a beginner because it requires a stroke that is very challenging for a beginner to grasp. however, if you are good at ping pong and want to have fun with a unique paddle that know other paddle can hit like, then this is the paddle for you.

i have had it ever since christmas it is almost april and they are great. i do not have people who abuse the paddles but i do play alot on them and hitting the ball is not a work out unlike the gamecraft paddles. you dont even have to hit it, it bounces it right off. i have to say it is heavy then your wooden paddles but you get use to it after a while. i dont have a problem with dirt or grime since i keep it inside. i have not used alot of paddles only this and it is the best and unique then any other paddle. i think it is the best out there.

try [...] for price compareison
it is cheaper then amazon....

great racket, excellent control . only criticism is that it is too heavy and could be thinner . should last forever, at least if kept indoors

You need to hit the ball fairly hard to get action on it. The paddles did end up breaking so they are not indestructible (one broke in half and the other's handle finally fell apart). What we have found is that a cheap $3 hardbat paddle is the best for community rackets....you just can't beat the price and these are just a little on the pricey side.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great all around racket, not very durable., June 16, 2010

I was looking for a racket that was had a decent amount of spin while still having enough pop to slam. It is very sticky and the hard plastic provides enough power to create a lot of speed on the ball.

However, I think the more traditional wooden paddles are stronger. The hard material of the plastic tends to fail, and crack. While wood gives and absorbs more impact. What I mean is that I broke two of these rackets, despite their claims of being durable and impact resistant. Having said that, I would enjoy getting another one but don't feel like having it break again on me. I do play rather rough, and I was hoping that this was going to be the paddle that lasted me a while, not so much...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Racket, quality not excellent., September 12, 2009

This racket is very beautiful, it appears to be very durable and it is OK to play with. However it does not match the performance of regular rackets just yet, as far as control, speed, although it does give very good spin. Build Quality was not excellent as I had to remove some rubber on its side that clearly spurted out in the casting process but was not cleaned up on the factory for some reason.

5.0 out of 5 stars BLING BLING, October 8, 2009
This review is from: Cornilleau Tacteo 60 Weather Resistant Fiber Composite Table Tennis Racket (Sports)
I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere,
People always ask me does it ever wear
Away: "No!" I say, "Don't even need a spare!"
They ask me where did I find such a rare
Specimen: I tell them I found a pair
On Amazon; they yell "Hellz yea you have some flair,"
So I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere.

I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere
Floods, hurricanes, don't stop for no tornado scare;
My lungs get wheezy and fingers freeze in the icy air,
But my racquet stays fresh, don't got no weather malfunction nightmares.
Them old, rotten wooden paddles, can't compare
To my Cornilleau Tacteo 50 Weather Resistant Table Tennis Racket Pair,
So I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere.

I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere
When it starts to rain, I whip out the racquet and dare
To be different, my personal umbrella, I swear,
When I'm reading outside and the sun starts to glare,
I hold up my racquet and I'm saved from leaving Voltaire.
When its chilly outside, me and my racquet play four-square,
So I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere.

I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere
Rolling through town, they see my goods and stare;
I stop at the bakery to get me some lemon eclair,
The baker says "Damn, that's some fine hardware!"
It's better than any bling-bling on my footwear
Not only looks good, but works without repair,
So I carry my ping-pong racquet with me everywhere.

I bought this racket after reading reviews from Amazon, but I'm very disappointed with it. It's weak in terms of spin and power. Don't let the demo video fool you with it's air powered drive. It doesn't work. Just a marketing gimmick. I owned a Stiga Elite and Titanium along with a Butterfly Shenshu so this Tacteo 60 is for kids play. I guess this $37+ dollar racket will be my fly swatter. Don't buy this item.
