I had expected these to be made of the same material Corelle dishes are made of. They are not. They are heavy and substantial ceramic. They are quite beautiful, and I can't believe they are selling them for only 15.99. The red is an absolutely beautiful shade. I am very impressed with these bowls!

These are 3 very nice bowls. you would pay more than this just for the large bowl alone. They are heavy ceramic. Small bowl is great for mixing up some eggs or serving upi some guacamole. large bowl for serving pasta or salads.

I have used Corning Ware items for many years and can say that these bowls are high quality as everything else I have ever used from Corning Ware. They last for years and keep looking nice.

These are heavy and that's why I wanted them, but if you want something lighter go with stainless. I love this set, though. Pretty, and great for my baking.

I was pleased to find much nicer mixing bowls than I can get locally in my rural Oregon town. Very heavy porcelain, no flaws and free shipping within the larger order! What a great deal! They nest together just a mite too snuggly to fit my fingers under the lip of the smaller bowls, but, nesting them with old cloth placemats was the perfect solution and they lift out nicely now. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

My bowls arrived, and I placed them for a quick wash in the dishwasher. The 2 qt bowl came out with giant cracks through the bottom. I emailed World Kitchen and they replaced the whole set immediately.

I think the bowls are fantastic value but I gave it 3 star because of the initial bowl cracking incident.

I think these are great bowls and they are very attractive. At first it looked like the oversized lip on the edge would chip but even after I accidently dropped one on the floor it was fine!

The blue is a gorgeous color and sometimes I use the medium sized bowl on my counter to hold fruit.

Good buy for the price.

I love these mixing bowls. I use them everyday for something. I would definently recommend them to everyone I know.

I WAS NOT REAL HAPPY WITH COLOR I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE A MORE TRUE RED.

THIS IS A NICE SET OF BOWLS, BUT THEY ARE HEAVY. I WOULD PREFER LIGHTER WEIGHT BOWLS.
