After trying 2 times to get these shipped to me I decided to forgoe the shipping and find something else. Two of the three bowls would make the trip but one was always broken. They were beatiful and felt very good in the hands. I wish I could have gotten tnem all here at once without being broken.

I had the same experience in Oct 2007 as the previous reviewer in Feb 2006 - Broken bowl upon arrival. The box seemed in normal shape, but the middle bowl was completely shattered. I'm not going to even risk having Amazon replace them because I learned from a previous order that they only pay for one return shipment and then I have to pay return-shipping the next time even if they ship me another broken product.

What an excellent set of bowls! Beautiful serving bowls, heavy-weight stoneware, will coordinate with anything - ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION. And the price is unbelievable!! Wish I had found these before I spent 4x as much on Pottery Barn's Great White Coupe Serving Bowl set! Another great buy - Thanks, Amazon!

These are fantastic! I did the 4-for-3 promotion with these, what a steal! They make excellent housewarming presents, or white elephant gift exchange even.

I've used these hundreds of times, they've never once cracked or chipped. Even in the dishwasher! Very well made, would definitely buy again.

The bowls are what I have been looking for for several yearsn and they are great.

The bowls are nice and heavy duty but I was expecting them to be like the plates...light...not stoneware. It would have been nice to know that it was stoneware before I ordered it because I needed it to be lightweight since I have a hard time lifting things. I think the description should make it clearer that these bowls are made out of stoneware not the other stuff.

I love these bowls, I truly do not know how I got along without them all these years. I use them everyday, they are soooo practical.

I use these bowls to make jello in and store food in the fridge in and serving food in. I am very happy with them. They are so useful and great quality.
