These are the greatest containers for a two member family or many more!! The Corning Ware containers are, as always, super but the lids are what really makes these container soooo wonderful! They have a "vent" in the lid that can be opened for perfect microwaving or just popped closed (and sealed) for refrigerator or freezer storage. They are just the right size for left overs or single servings that are prepared ahead of time. Couldn't live without mine!!

We got these as weddings gifts and love them. Our plastic set was looking awful and we were concerned about the health issues of microwaving plastic, but had problems with other brands' glass/ceramic products - namely, lids that melted and/or warped where they touch the glass/ceramic portion. But we've used these for a year and a half with no problems. Unless of course you count a little lid staining from tomato-based sauces - par for the course. The size is just right - enough to fill us up without overportioning.

The items arrived on time. But I was not very happy with the product. It has covers that really are difficult to fit and not quite flexible as I had expected it to be.

Corning always makes a good product. I have some trouble getting the tops off and have almost dropped the whole thing trying to get them off.

fit fine for me. I like the size too because it's bigger then a creme brulee dish but not bowl size. It's perfect for individual sides :)

The ceramic dish is good for microwaving leftovers. The dish could be slightly deeper/taller, even if they had to make the diameter a little smaller. I don't like the lids. They're hard to use and gimmicky. Would have preferred a simple plain lid. With these two changes, I would have given a rating of five. Arrived in perfect condition.

The dish size is perfect for an individual lunch serving; the tight leak resistance lids are great for transporting. Plus you can avoid the health hazards of reheating in plastic. the only draw back is the lids are not stain resistant.

We bought these to use for foods that would be later reheated. Corningware is a familiar product in terms of their style and quality and this product met those expectations. The tops can be a little difficult to get on and off at first but they "soften" up a little bit with use. And the air vents work well while microwaving. We have the round and oval ones and I'd get either again because they serve our purpose so perfectly.

This is the most useful items in my kitchen; being able to take food out of the refrigerator and heat it in the microwave is just fantastic. And if you eat the food out of the corning ware, you have just one dish to wash, which is very easily done. I have two sets, the bake and serve set and the larger 24 ounce cups with a handle.

I love this set. The pop top vents are great for the micky wave.
