These Corning Ware covered bowls are great for food that goes from the refrigerator to the microwave. And the tops do not have to be removed; just pop the opening on the top up to heat the food and then close it again for the food to be refrigerated

I love the CorningWare French White line and own a dozen other pieces. Many of those came with pliable, well-fitting rubbery covers. This set has covers of a different type which are very hard for me to remove, especially without spilling liquid contents. The bowls and cups are all usable so there is function in those, but we use covers from other products we have for storing foods in them. By the way, we had no damage in shipping.

The four ramekins are very small and don't have lids.

The two bowls are somewhat small, but come with lids.

The two cups are large and have handles, but the product wasn't properly packed and one of the handles was broken off completely.

I'm very disappointed. I'm a senior and it is too much trouble for me to return it, but from now on I'm going to check carefully before I order anything, and if it comes from the company called World Kitchen, I won't buy it. Amazon should not do business with this company.

I've always been happy with Corningware in the past, but this set isn't worth the price and the company shipping it, World Kitchen, which apparently licenses this stuff from Corningware, doesn't seem to care enough about customers to even pack things properly.
