These are great for hot lunches especially soups, stews etc. They are a breeze to clean up and much safer to use in microwaves than plastic. The cover has a built in vent so you won't spill anything like you would with plastic. They are kind of small which is the only drawback.

One of many great products corningware makes!! I like the vented lid however wish it would had been stain resistance but maybe someday!!

These dishes cannot be beat for storing leftovers in the refrigerator and then heating them in the microwave. And you can do it with the lid on! Just pop the lid top open, and it is ready .
