Corningware French White 1 -1/2 quart round plastic cover
A must have for the CorningWare French white 1-1/2 Quart Round Casserole dish. It is so much easier storing leftovers and you are ablt to stack them on top of each. You won't regret it.

Doesn't fit!
I ordered this at the same time as the CorningWare French White casserole baking dish. After I opened it up, it would't fit over the baking dish! How silly.

Great for storing food in the fridge. I like that the flat lid allows the corningware to fit on more shelves and keeps the food fresh.

Tight fit may be hard on some but the result is a leak resistant/proof lid that is impossible to obtain with the glass lid and is much tighter than plastic wrap can be. Too bad they don't come standard.

This lid is great for storing leftovers in teh fridge since it's flat you can stack on top of it unlike the glass lids.

Ended up buying this cover as the ones we had didn't fit the new size. It is a much tighter fit than the glass covers, but obviously is intended for the microwave or refrigerator, not the oven. It works, what more can you say. We haven't had it long enough to judge how long it will last though it seems pretty well made.
