I bought this and thought it was decent. Don't forget 24oz is small. Its not a dish that can hold several portions. If you are looking to use it for one portion that is fine. One thing I need to point out is that the cover is plastic and plastic heating up in a microwave according to some may not be the best idea since plastic in a heated environment can give off toxins. Something some may want to keep in mind. Happy eating!

This little dish is handy, sturdy, and is perfect for the home or office. I was given one as a gift by a family member in the early 2000's when I graduated from college and I am still, all these years later, using it at work with little wear and tear to show for it. The lid gets a bit stained after a while, but the lid and the dish haven't cracked and are still in great condition. I recently ordered a new one for my husband so that he can have one at work too and he loves it. Also, if you're wary about microwaving food in plastic containers, this dish is perfect for you. Highly recommended!

the top is 6-1/2", the bottom is 5-3/8"
so for instance to reheat a frozen piece of chicken might be too long to fit
the center exhaust tab valve on top is sealable you can leave it open
the plastic lids seals on the corning ware bottom dish
one a little bit bigger might be more ideal
12-16 ounces of liquid is about all that fits, 24 completely fills dish to top
