it's a great size for storing ~2 servings of leftovers, it also greatly reduces the amount of saran wrap i now have to use by using this container plus the actual container is oven/microwave/dishwasher safe...and since it's not plastic doesn't leach out any of those bad compounds which is great!

I don't normally review kitchenware, but this covered, portable dish is such a great idea. I use this to take my lunch to work, and heat up everything from leftover roast and mashed potatoes to soup. I like a hot lunch, and this thing keeps me from buying out several times a week.

I loved the 20 oz. mug so much, I decided to try this 24 oz. small vented casserole. I can't say enough good things about it! It is wonderful for heating/storing a main dish or veggies for two. Don't let the photo fool you. I stored two half chicken breasts with sauce easily. Reheating will not only be simply, the small size prevents the food from becoming over-done and dry. Leftovers travel easily (and spillproof) to work and then the dish goes into the dishwasher... What is not to love??? Best of all, I can bring it to the table and the simple clean lines are perfectly with my Portmeirion pattern. I plan to order a second to use instead of the disposable plastic ware. What a useful product at a very practical size and a great price!
