I felt compelled to write a review after reading the other 1-star review, which did not address the product, but Amazon. I couldn't believe anyone would give these 1 star. I have had these for 8 years, and they have been nothing but great. My mom always had Corningware when I was growing up, the white ones with the little blue flowers on the side. When I got married, I wanted something with that versatility, but I didn't think the little blue flowers would fit into my modern kitchen. That's when I discovered French White. They're affordable, and they look great enough to serve in, they clean up so easily, you can use them on the stove, in freezer, fridge, dishwasher and oven. It's nice to store in these instead of plastic, b/c they don't stain, and they don't impart a plastic flavor to your food. The glass covers are beautiful, but a bit of a pain, since they can slide off, and you can't put anything on top of them in the fridge. If you can find the tight-fitting plastic lids for sale separately, that's the ultimate combination. I have quite a bit of French White and I'm still adding to my collection. You won't be disappointed with these (presuming they arrive in one piece!)

I received the product quickly, it was what I had ordered, minus one cover but the cover didn't really fit on the casserole dish anyway. I have several other casserole dishes and managed to fit it onto one of those.

Just what my aunt was looking for made a great gift and she uses it all the time in her cooking and the price was nice as well CorningWare is a nice way to go and will last you long time if you care for it and don't drop it or use a tuff soap pad on it

After one of the French White casseroles cracked after two or three uses, I learned that the new stoneware Corningware is vastly inferior to the now discontinued Pyroceram cookware. My old Corningware is still in good shape after 20 years.

I ordered this item and it came poorly packaged by Amazon and broken. Although Amazon sent me a replacement without charge, the replacement also came poorly packaged and broken. As this was intended to be a Christmas gift it was a great inconvenience. I doubt that I will order anything breakable from Amazon in the future.
