Expensive at half the price. "Corning Ware" is a glass laminate product. These "corning ware" Ramekins were fabricated of porcelain and were not the laminated glass Corning Ware product. Unfortunately, Corning Glass sold their product name to a less than honest manufacturer, who slapped the name on their inferior (to laminated glass) product.

I use these for so many things - small dishes of ice cream, making small tortes from extra pie-crust cuttings, chip dip, etc. They are just so versatile and I love the clean, uncomplicated look of them.

Just the exact size and quality that I wanted. Great in every way. "the white of the ramekin is white, the size is exactly right, the service was immediate as stated,the total purchase was exemplary as rated." Thank you Amazon, again you have not failed me in purchasing from you.

These dishes are useful for the oven, the table, the microwave, and are dishwasher safe. There are few things as multi-capable, durable, etc. You see them in restaurants, hotels, as well as better homes.

I ordered these just to make my $25. I'm sure they are well worth the price I paid, would be ideal for a one/two person family. I will use them for gifts.
