After 1 or 2 uses, my hot/cold pack developed a leak. But Corningware Customer Service was very good, they sent me a knew one. (It was a gift, so I didn't have a receipt or proof of purchase.) The new pack has held up well, so I don't hold that against them.

I have one complaint. The lid on mine doesn't seal very well. There are gaps around the sides, and if you're transporting something "juicy" (e.g., ratatouille), there might be some leaking. On the up side, the carrier is easy to clean with a wet cloth or sponge.

But overall, a good product, and I would recommend it.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I prepared a hot dish to take to a Christmas party. It was very easy to put the pouch that was supplied with it in the microwave and heat it before putting it in the carrier. When I arrived I told them they might have to heat mine up again after travel time of about 45 minutes to the destinaton and visiting time for an hour or so. We took the dish out of the carrier, and it did not need to be heated at all. Also, very convenient to have the carrier to transport the 9 x 13 dish.

I needed a new 9x12 pan after mine had an accident.. I was all ready to splurge on a Le Creuset (seriously... I have been upgrading when a piece of my existing anything needs replaced) when I ran across this gem. For less than $20, you get the pan, the glass lid, the plastic lid and the carrier. Seriously... it was a no-brainer. I started off with Corningware French White and even though I use a lot of high-brand kitchen equipment now (see that... it's called equipment when you spend as much on a dutch oven as a car payment...lol) and French White is the only other dishes I use. They are easy to clean, always look nice and, really, they do the job. An expensive dutch oven is a great thing.. when you use it right...but what do you really use a 9x12 (13 or whatever) size pan for? Lasagna? Baked chicken? Sheet cake? You just don't need an expensive dish to get impressive results. Buy this... you won't be sorry :)

I love the French White collection! This piece finished off my set perfectly! I love the sturdy bag and the plastic lid for the dish.

I absolutely LOVE this dish. It fits so perfectly in the case and the hot cold feature rocks! There is mesh pocket on top (you can't see it in the pictures) that you can put serving utensils in and you can carry it using the handle and it stays upright and level. I love this dish so much...but my husband accidentally dropped it last night and it chipped on the edge. I'm going to order a new one as soon as possible...I feel like I can't live without it now!

This is awesome! It is so nice to have a portable dish that comes with the hot and cold packs, and a nice carrier with a handle!

I just bought two of these last week and used them for the first time for a brunch this morning. I had several pans in the oven. Two of these, and two clear glass Pyrex. When I went to take these out of the oven, there was NO way to grasp the pan to lift it. My fingers slid right off the edge. For a moment, I wasn't sure how I would resolve this. I easily removed the other two identical egg casseroles I had put in the Pyrex pans. They have a firm lip to pull it out easily. Then I tried again to lift the extremely hot, heavy pans to get them out. I thought I would get burned or drop them. Finally, I eventually pulled out the oven rack and put on "ove" gloves and wrestled them out. So Dangerous. The edges and excessive weight are, I think, a huge design flaw. This pan is not the sleek French White Corningware casserole dish I love (I have several) but an unnecessarily awkward, clunky white pan with a slick rim. I do think the black case is attractive, nice and sturdy. On the whole, I would not buy this again or recommend it.

I purchased the CorningWare French White Portable Dish for my daughter as a gift. I was so impressed with the way it kept the food secure in the case, the lid stayed tight, no spills! I have three food carriers by another company but by the time I get to my party the food has spilled out and made a mess. So I purchased one for myself, I'm throwing out the other carriers. The one I just bought this month is for my granddaughter for Christmas. Great product. Ann

I purchased 2 for gifts and should have ordered 3 since I used one myself. I have used a total of 3 times. Once for green bean casserole, once for dressing, and once for a fancy apple dessert. It is just the right size and keeps the dish really warm. I haven't tried cold yet.

I bought this product because we have 'goodie day' every Friday, and roughly 4 times a year it's my turn to bring goodies. A few co-workers have one similar, and it's so easy to carry and clean up, so I decided to find one myself. What I like the most is that there's somewhere to hold your spoon for serving, and that little hot/cold pack that comes with it. I haven't gotten to use mine yet, but I can tell by looking at it this is a quality product and am going to use it for years to come. Great job, Corningware!
