Artist Rose Trevelyan lives a peaceful life in her cottage overlooking Mount s Bay in Cornwall, sketching on the beach at Mousehole when the weather is fine, or taking photographs of the harbour at Newlyn to be sold as postcards in the local gift shops in towns dotted around the coast. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, Rose often finds herself drawn into the oddest situations. About the Author
Janie Bolitho enjoyed a variety of careers - psychiatric nurse, debt collector, working for a tour operator, a book-maker s clerk - before becoming a full time writer. She died of breast cancer in late 2002.

I like this series. The setting in Cornwall is a big plus, as the author now and then describes some of the natural beauty of the area. They are well-written mysteries, and this omnibus volume is a less expensive way to get hold of 3 of them. The only slight difficulty is the heaviness of the book and the tiny print. But, although small, I could still read it.
