I bought this for my daughter's fifth birthday. I had been looking for a doll that is not a baby doll, but represents her age approximately, but did not want to spend the money on an American Doll or similar. This fit perfectly. The doll has a normal healthy-looking body and is great for pretend-play unlike dolls like Barbie or Bratz, which seem to sell a "type" (ditzy lady or bratty teenager respectively).
She has beautiful thick hair that can be styled with regular sized accessories, so my daughter puts her own clips and ponytail holders on her, as well as stretchy hairbands, which we fold twice. This is a big deal as i really hate to keep track of teeny-tiny doll accessories.

I've also sewn some clothes for the doll upon my daughter's request and we had lots of fun picking out fabrics and styles and she even helped with some of the sewing.

The doll is fantastically priced for what you get in terms of quality and looks. I have to admit it's also very realistic for little girls who are not yet old enough to understand the word "expensive" and so i don't have to worry too much if some major damage should happen to the doll. Little brothers, anyone?

All in all my daughter loves to play with it and i'm sure she will get good use out of it for several years.

I own two of the Corolle Les Cheries dolls and bought this one recently for my niece's 4th birthday. Just as the company says, they are a just right "in-between" doll for girls who are too old for baby dolls but not old enough for some other dolls. And what little girl doesn't love a ballerina doll with long beautiful hair!! These dolls are very well made out of a softer vinyl than most dolls which makes them more touchable and also easier for younger children to dress. And they smell wonderful! Very highly recommended!!

This is such a wonderful doll. She is so beautiful with her sleepy time eyes. My 3.5 year old asked Santa for a ballerina doll and this seemed like the only one on the market worth the money. Amazon offered a great price for a great doll. I highly recommend this doll for any age.

We picked this doll as a Christmas present as a more affordable alternative to the American Girl doll. She is smaller than the American Girl at 13 inches vs. 18 inches. I was concerned that there weren't as many accessories available as there are for 18 inch dolls additionally the official Corrolle Les Cheries outfits seem a little pricey to me. But I found that the Groovy Girls doll clothes fit this doll very nicely. That was a relief as you can get Groovy Girl clothes for about $12 an outfit. If you go this route keep in mind that some Groovy Girl dresses are a bit snug on Camille's hips so you may have to tug a bit ;-) Also, the official Les Cheries outfits are very cute and good quality so I would recommend springing for a few of them as well. And if you're handy you could always sew some clothes.

The thing I really love about this doll is that she looks like a little girl and is very age appropriate in that way. She smells fantastic (as other reviewers have noted). She is also very malleable and easy for little hands to dress - much easier than Barbie. Her hair seems to be pretty good quality - easy to pull back, etc. I've heard that wig brushes work best for doll hair, but we haven't tried this out yet. I like that regular size hair accessories work for her hair as well.

A note on her durability - My only teeny tiny beef is that after only a couple of days of play she has some permanent scratches on her cheeks, but I'm not really terribly bothered by it. I think dolls are meant to be loved and used and a little scuff here and there isn't really a big deal. Her arm has popped off a few times during vigorous dressing sessions, but it pops back in very easily.

I very highly recommend this doll for people wanting a nice quality doll for a younger girl.

Beautiful doll that is phthalate free - (a dangerous additive in most US plastic toys). She has the sweetest face and her hair is very high quality - nicely brushable! Her eyes close when laid down and her body is slightly soft when pushed on which makes her comfortable enough for my daughter to sleep with. The tu-tu is removable from her leotard. I cannot express enough how cute she is! I love her facial expression and the detail in her clothing. The ONLY issue I have is with the way the hair is secured to the leotard for packaging - removing the little threads that are attached to the leotard to hold her hair in place in front of her shoulders leaves small holes in the suit. And the smell is wonderful!

This is a beautiful doll and well worth the money. She is sure to make any little girl happy. She's just the perfect size for little hands to hold and love. Highly Recommend this doll.

What a cute little doll. She has an adorable face, cute ballerina outfit, nicely made. Both my daughters loved this doll. Recommended for anyone that has a little ballerina!

My 4 year old daughter saw this ballerina doll in a local toy-store and immediately put it on the Christmas wish list. I thought it was pretty but very expensive, like all Corolle dolls are, and was happy to find it at a much better price at Amazon.com.
My daughter has had many soft-body baby dolls, as well as Barbies, but this is the first doll that I can say is the "real thing", with movable limbs, hard body, eyes that open and close, and beautiful hair. It's a good quality doll, everything seems well designed and made, from her satin slippers to her rosette hair band. I was surprised to see it was Made in China because it looks so, well, European, so unlike the usual toy junk found at "TargetMart'r Us." Corolle has many other outfits that match this doll, we would have probably bought a couple for doll dressup if they were not so obscenely expensive.

The laces on the legs come apart easily and the hair is soon a mess so we braided it. However that said my little grand daughter loved this doll and plays with it constantly. All the other little girls in her neighborhood loved the doll too and what they don't tell you is that it SMELLS WONDERFUL.

This is the nicest doll I have ever seen. I bought it for my 21 month old granddaughter, but my 10 year old granddaughter just loves it. I may have to buy another one. She has hair that can be styled, a lovely outfit, and a most beautiful face.
