I just received the Corolle Bebe Charmeur doll today, and it is such a beautiful doll, the high quality makes such a difference. The way her eyes open and close is gentle not clunky, she has an open mouth (for thumb, paci and bottle) that is natural looking, not a crude hole. Overall she is so much more realistic looking than a cheaper doll. Her body is soft but not too empty, she has a bit of beans in the butt. She's bald with a bit of molded hair in the front.

I thought 14" sounded a little small, but it is not, the doll is a great size.

My daughter wanted a doll that had a bottle and a paci. I wanted a nice looking doll that didn't take batteries and make creepy sounds etc. I'm really happy with this doll, she is just so beautiful and charming!

I did a lot of research when picking a doll for my daughter. I don't want her to have lots of dolls but just a few special ones that she plays with & is a "mommy" to. I wanted her to have something special for her 4th birthday. It was also close to the time of a new baby being born into our family. This doll did not disappoint me. Because of how it is made, soft body but with some type of beans in the bottom area...this doll can sit up. I was pleased to discover that the doll's head can be turned (side to side/etc.).

The little booties were a bit difficult to put on the doll's feet. One benefit might be the booties won't fall off too easily. My daughter likes the option of having a pacifier or bottle for her doll...both came with this doll. The hat is a nice accessory as well. She hasn't tried changing the doll's outfit yet. The outfit is suppose to be easy for little ones to change the clothes as it has velcro instead of snaps or buttons.

I was thrilled to find this on sale & purchased this doll through Amazon for 55% off. My daughter had the Baby Pouce (soft body/my 1st doll) by Corolle. Because of the positive experience we had with that doll...I checked into Corolle dolls for her next bigger baby doll. I recommend this doll...came with several extras/accessories. Seems to be a good size for my 4 yr old. Nice light weight...which is important for a little one. It seems about the size of her new baby brother.

Got Bebe Charmeur and Bebe Souce Pouce blue for my two daughters for Christmas 2008. One daughter wanted a "boy" doll, so I went with the Souce Pouce blue (although put it in a dress and it looks like a girl too). Having compared the two over this year, I believe the extra money for the Bebe Charmeur is well worth it. Her body flops more naturally and feels more real than the somewhat stiff Souce Pouce. Overall their faces are very similar, but the body shape and feel and the fact that she can sit up on her own make Bebe Charmeur worth the extra money you will spend (in my opinion). Plus she comes with shoes (Souce Pouce blue doesn't) and a few little accessories, but really nothing compares to the "technology" of having a soft doll that can also sit up. And both dolls smell wonderful, even a year later. I am so against buying kids crappy doll after crappy doll. Spend a little extra and buy them one GREAT doll that they can cuddle and love and remember for a lifetime.

We bought this doll for our daughter's 2nd birthday after reading reviews and lots of research. It was very important that she have a pacifier and bottle, and the ability to suck on her thumb! Our daughter loves her! She smells like cake - not too much - just enough. We highly recommend her as a first baby doll.

I just purchased this doll two weeks or so ago for my daughters second birthday. It has stayed in the cradle (also a birthday gift) most of the time and has had hardly any play time. The other day I picked up the doll and notice that its head had small fracture lines (spider cracks) up at the crown. I tried to rub the plastic to see if it was just residue plastic from a mold or something but nope sure enough, they are cracks. It isn't a huge defect but I am disappointed that there is any defect considering the price. (I of course have long since thrown the doll box away so a return isn't possible.) Its a nice enough doll but I am just not sure its that different than a doll purchased for a fourth of the price from Toys R Us.

My daughter was looking for the "Perfect" baby doll for her 2-yr old cousin. Tried to get one that looked/felt like her older (1998) 17" baby zapf model. Zapf dolls now changed, and so began the hunt that ended with 14" Bebe Charmeur .. and she is a charmer! Not too petite, either, as I first feared for a 14" doll.

Eyes open/close as my daughter wanted. Doll has pretty features and soft body - makes for good hugs. No ugly big feeding hole in mouth - just a decent sized one to serve the purpose. 2yr old cousin VERY happy with her new baby. She's a hit.

I bought this doll for my 3 year old niece for her birthday. She absolutely loves this doll and takes care of it. She also had a new baby sister arrive 3 weeks before her birthday so it helped her with the baby because she had her own baby to feed and take care of. I have purchased other Corolle dolls for her and always very satisified. I will also purchase them for her baby sister. Highly recommended and worth the money.

I purchased this doll for my soon to be three year old granddaughter for Christmas. She is a girly girl and really enjoys this doll. It has enough accessories to keep a little one quite engaged. She and I enjoyed playing with it.

We bought this baby doll for our almost 3 year old this past Christmas. She really loves it. The clothes are easy enough for her to take on & off by herself (since the baby doll is constantly "pooping" according to my daughter & she has to change her frequently, that's important! :-). The pacifier stays in the baby doll's mouth and the accessories are nice as well. We bought the play pen with mobile to go with it, and she plays with it all the time (several weeks later!)! It's exactly what I was hoping for!

My 4 y/o daugther loves her Bebe Charmeur! She is a perfectly proportioned and weighted size doll for a preschooler. I worried that she would be too small but instead she is just right in my daugthers arms - not too small and not too big. She loves all the accessories - booties, hat, bib, and bottle. And she has the beautiful signature luminescent, vanilla scented skin of Corolle dolls. We love our Bebe Charmeur!
