I bought the Dolly Tina for my 15 month old daughter. Our Dolly Tina has an afro though, which is actually the reason I purchased her, we are natural haired African Americans and I liked that this doll has hair like me and my daughter. She loves dolls and this one is no different. She carries Dolly Tina around, sleeps with her, feeds and plays with her. A good purchase.

UPDATE: I see Amazon changed the picture. Now it looks just like our dolly Tina.

We wanted a doll that would help teach my daughter that we all are different, but beautiful. This doll does the trick! Shes soft, colorful and a great friend for my two year old!

I love all the Corelle Dolls, but the "dolly's" are especially cute. I like how the body is soft and the ethnic varations of the dolly's are great! They have an Asian one, African American, Pink Hair and Purple Hair one, etc. They are fun and very different from what is out there. I had been looking for a reasonably priced African American doll for a while online and was SO pleased to find this on Amazon at a decent price! Hooray for offering this doll. I have ALL of them and my daughter loves them as much as I do. And, how fun is the Hair on Tina? :) Love it! Love it! Love it!

cute doll , my 5 year old doesn't play with it but I do! I don't know if I should have paid $30 for it... but I don't regret it.. if you have the money, go for it...
