This doll is another great doll from Corolle, and our second one of this type (we have one of the pink haired ones). My daughter adored her because she looks like her cousins adopted from China. The first time my daughter took her out, three Asian moms and kids stopped us and asked us where we got her, because they wanted one too! The doll has a very sweet, pretty face, her hair has streaks of purple and pink, her dress is removable, her shoes are totally fun, and she smells nice too! A hit!

My 3 year old daughter LOVED this doll the moment she opened the package. She takes her everywhere. Mady Madison's only downside is that her hair has not stood up to the challenge. Silky and smooth at first ... it has now turned into a matted mess. it seems the more we try to brush it, the worse it gets. She now has "dread locks" -- but her face is to die for and my daughter still loves her!

I bought this doll for my 8 yr old Grandaughter, who happens to be a little Tom Boy. Even though she thought the doll pretty enough, she did not want it. However I fell in love with it and when purchasing it, wished I could afford one for myself. My wish came true, she gave it to me! I replaced it with a Basketball. This doll is absolutely Beautiful. I recommend it for children and Adults too.

Very cute doll. Children love it. The golden shoes on it though make the feet look awkwardly big. Oh well. But the hair almost looks real.

This little doll is cute as can be. I was concerned about the licorice smell being overpowering, but it is not. It is a nice light smell. I highly recommend it and can't wait to give it to my daughter for Christmas.

I love the face on this doll. She is adorable. I bought two as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old twins and they play with them quite often, although their Corolle baby dolls still are the most popular. We also found that the hair on these dolls began to look ratty very quickly. I took out the ponytails and put the dolls' hair in a single ponytail to improve the bad hair situation, but it still looks ratty. We've talked about giving them a haircut, but haven't gone that far yet. I do like that these dolls have a soft body. They don't feel as sturdy as the girls' baby dolls because of the thinner limbs, but I think they are cuter and softer to sleep with. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied except for the hair. [...]

I am a little disappointed. The legs are pretty skinny and long. It makes the doll looks supper skinny and small. I was expecting a more rounded doll. And the hair is shorter than the picture. It is still a pretty doll.

I purchased this doll and was not disappointed! My granddaughter prefers bright colors rather than soft, and rooted hair on her dolls although she is only 2! This doll provided both of those things without having to purchase a barbie type doll or a regular hard bodied baby doll with lots of separate pieces, like socks and shoes. She is soft, washable and only her little dress comes off, which makes it nice for a little one. I did trade out the hair pieces though for some long soft yarn just to make it safer for her! Yes, the hair did get messy, but I have a trick: use a little non toxic baby oil on it and brush with a wig type brush, trim loose hairs...she will look like new! Licorice is soft enough to be a bedtime dolly!

Hard to find asian dolls for adopted daughter of a friend. This was a great find. The doll is larger than I expected.

this doll was a xmas gift for my 2 yr old daughter. she absolutely loves it! we picked it because it has an almost snotty expression on her face that matches my daughter perfectly. it's a little smaller than i was anticipating, but stil well worth it!
