Corolle Tidoo Sorbet - 12" Doll

We LOVE this little doll! She's the perfect size for my 2 year old to tote around. Her eyes open and close, she feels soft (but can get wet!) and has her mouth open a little for a binkie. The only downfall we've found is that she doesn't dry as quickly as my toddler would like. Our solution has been that she can only take baths at night and then dry overnight. She's a very cute doll, I'd highly recommend her if you're looking for a soft baby who can get wet.

My daughter loves dolls and she really liked this one. I like the "life-like" body but since it is water proof its sorta a vinyl fabric that makes noise when you hug the doll, move the doll, etc. Its not too loud, I guess, but it really bothered me at first. I will also second what other reviewers said about it taking a long time to dry, so baby can't go from night bath to bed with my daughter.

Otherwise, cute doll with the Corolle sweet vanilla scent!

One last thing: the hat is small and frustrates my daughter because there is no way she can get it on the doll by herself.

I was so excited when the doll arrived ... not so after opening the box. The doll is horribly understuffed (body is soft, limbs and head are vinyl)and cannot be held upright without the head falling forward or backward. I thought that maybe the doll would "puff-up" in the water - not so. My daughter was excited when she first saw the doll (it does look pretty cute), but lost interest in her on the first day because the doll cannot sit unassisted, not even when leaned onto something - basically collapses into itself. I usually give products the benefit of the doubt, but this I actually regreat buying. I have the Tidoo Carling and uploaded some pictures.

Love everything about this doll EXCEPT one MAJOR FLAW. The head is NOT water tight as claimed! Maybe mine is flawed, but the head is now filled with black mold/mildew from water getting trapped in it, after only 4 months. It makes the doll look like she has bruises all over her face and head. The "vanilla scent" covers up the mildew scent somewhat (strategic?), but there is no way to remove the doll's head to clean out the mold so I guess I have to throw it out. Unfortunately, my 20 month old is very attached to this doll and has named it and takes a bath with it most every night. Very disappointing!! And yes, we did hang the doll up to dry after every bath as instructed. The only plus is that it did help her enjoy baths more when she was going through a phase of hating them. Still not worth the money.

I got my daughter this doll when she was just over one. We lost it and that is the only doll she wanted this year for christmas. It is the perfect size, cuddly, and durable. She is in love. Great doll, I would recommend to anybody with a little boy or girl wanting a baby.

We are huge fans of Corolle dolls. My daughter has the Calin, Bebe Charmeur, Baby Lila, and Baby Chouquette and I would rate all of these dolls 5 out of 5 stars. We have loved Corolle dolls so much, we have even bought them for my 2 nieces who also adore them. Even though Corolle dolls are expensive, they have all been well worth the price because they are outstanding quality and have been loved above all other baby dolls by the little girls in our family aged 18 months to 5 years). So I honestly hate to say, do not buy the Tidoo doll by Corolle. We bought this doll for my daughter when she was 2 because she loved her Calin doll so much and always wanted to take her in the bath. At first we were happy with Tidoo (even though her body was made out of icky plasticy material in order to make her water proof), but then the transformation happened. After about 3 months, the white part of Tidoo's eyes rusted, making her look demonic. My daughter was actually scared of her and refused to play with her. Since I had long since threw away the packaging material, I couldn't send her back to Amazon. But I was distraught because this doll was over $50 so I contacted Corolle who replaced the doll for free (well, I did pay to ship the original doll back to Corolle). Sadly, the exact same thing happened to the replacement Tidoo...after about 3 months, her eyes also rusted. At that point I contacted Corolle and asked to exchange the Tidoo doll for a Calin doll (which I ended up giving to a friend having a baby girl as her baby shower gift). Kudos to Corolle, as a company, for granting me this exchange, but they need to go back to the drawing board with this particular doll. Perhaps they should make a bath doll with eyes that do not open and close since this seems to be the issue as water gets trapped in the doll's eyes, causing them to rust. If you want a bath doll, buy the bath doll by Little Mommy (also available on Amazon)which is under $20, is super cute and while she has a hard plastic body, is perfect for play in the bath tub or swimming pool. This is by far the best bath toy around! Corolle knows dolls! The quality and durability of this doll can't be touched. They even put a cloth loop on the back of the doll for it to air dry. We used a command hook in our bath room to hang the doll on over the tub. Bath after bath and this doll still looks, smells, and feels BRAND NEW! A+ COROLLE!

Since I did not have a lot of dolls when I was growing up, I was really excited to get this doll for my daughter. The doll is cute and it does float in water. The head of the doll is a bit heavy, consequently it does not "sit" correctly and tips over all the time. My daughter is 19 months and did not really show a lot of interest in the doll. Maybe she is too little to play with dolls, or maybe her older brother's toys are more interesting...

Super cute. Perfect 1st doll because it can get wet and be easily washed and still it's soft. Cailin is a nice model too. But the ability to take Tidoo in the bath is great.

I bought this doll for my 2 year old. Its not all that soft. I was actually disappointed. The face, legs, and arms are hard plastic, the body is soft. The best part is that she can take a bath with it
