As a 16+ year vegetarian, I was extremely hesitant to do the fish oil thing. With so many reports on its undeniable and unparalleled health benefits to the brain heart, joints, skin, hair and body, I had to just say a blessing of gratitude and take the oil. As a vegetarian, I wanted to avoid gelatin. This lead me to this COROMEGA "paste." It's purportedly much more easily absorbed in the body anyhow, so a good choice even if you're not intentionally avoiding gelatin.

I first tried the ORANGE W/A HINT OF CHOCOLATE, which was not so good. Yes, it tasted like chocolate fish. Yikes. After finishing that box, I went with the PLAIN ORANGE, which simply tastes like baby aspirin. I hold my breath when taking it (never having liked fish, even before becoming vegetarian), but an accidental taste test proved that the plain orange is much more palatable.

As for the effects: I have a 27 degree curvature of the spine (Scoliosis) and am a walker-runner. Knee, neck, back and foot pain have ruled my life--not to mention dry, thinning hair and dry skin. After just a few days of taking this supplement, I noticed a difference in my knees. After a few weeks, I noticed a difference in my whole body. My hair is thicker and shinier, skin looks great, joins have almost no pain---PLUS I stopped taking my expensive vegetarian glucosamine/chondroitin. I'm almost disappointed in how well this product has worked. (I was secretly hoping to perceive no benefits, thus debunking the fish oil myth. Nope. It's not a myth. It's seriously beneficial.)

I now swear by Coromega Orange, Source of Life Gold Liquid Tropical Fruit - 30 oz - Liquid and zinc lozenges. These three supplements (plus meditation, exercise, laughter and love, of course) have remarkably improved the quality of my health and therefore life.

I give this to my autistic child with good behavioral results as well as digestive improvements. I would and do recommend this product to any one for any child. My daughter loves the taste and takes it right off a spoon or sucked from the package!

Love it, love it, love it! It's easy, convenient and works so much better than any omega-3 fish oil gel caps. No after taste; delicious flavor-just like a spoonful of pudding. I really like the orange with the hint of chocolate. Really makes my morning!

These are much better than taking regular fish oil capsules but the regular Coromega with Orange flavoring is MUCH better. I love chocolate but this flavor does not work well. I do not burp and have horrible fish taste in my mouth with them like most fish oil but the regular orange flavor is what I will be buying next time.

So yeah at first my daughter and I thought it was nasty ( She is 2 by the way). But for some odd reason, the taste grew on us on our 3rd packet. Now I kinda crave it and she loves it too and always wants more, weird huh? We put ours in the fridge so that helps with taste too I suppose. Research suggests that it helps toddlers brain and such but it is too early to tell if its helping her because she as always been smart, hope this really benefits her health. I suggest it to anyone.

The Coromega with chocolate was hated by all three in my family. As much as I love chocolate and orange together they just don't work well here. We gave them all to a friend, who also didn't like them and gave them to another friend....If you want great taste and great benefit to your body, stick with the orange flavor Coromega. I have been using Coromega Omega-3 supplement for several months with good results. But, I recently ordered the supplement with a "hint" of chocolate since I am a die-hard chocolate lover. What a mistake! The hint of chocolate is the worse combination with the orange flavor and I almost gag with each dose. I am trying to decide if I should throw out the box or just suffer through the next 80 packets.

I bought this because I heard that Omega-3 can help with skin disorders, and an allergic reaction to my medications gave me a very severe rash. I first tried fish oil capsules, which made my rash worse. This actually helped with the rash, so it serves it's purpose. However, I have to force myself to eat it every day. Because I liked the orange flavor, and because I really love chocolate, I thought I'd like this even more than the plain orange flavor. Boy was I wrong. This is one time I wish I weren't so frugal; unfortunately, it's to expensive to waste. I'll finish it because it does help with my rash. But when it's gone, I'm going back to the plain orange flavor.

For those that dislike the flavor as much as I do, making sure it's stored in the coldest part of my fridge does make it a bit more palatable. I still don't like the flavor, but when it's cold, at least I can tolerate it.

I'm on my fifth 90-day box. Each serving is said to contain the effective daily dose, but I enjoy the taste and effect so much, I take more. Honestly, the taste is strange, but not bad. Apparently there's menthol in the product, which produces a slight sensation when swallowed. I do find the orange and lime flavors more enjoyable. I'm an athlete, and using this decreases my stiffness and soreness. VERY noticeable. Can't personally make any claims to cognitive improvements, though I gave a box to my cousin, who swears there are some. Each packet contains a little less than a packet of ketchup, which sure beats taking MASSIVE pills that don't have half of the DHA/EPA contained in this. Best part is the price, and if you save your proof of purchase, send them in and get one free.

A friend introduced me to Coromega Omega-3 Supplement. It tastes great, with no nasty fish oil aftertaste. Makes taking it easy. I actually look forward to it. My husband drinks Fish Oil flavored with lemon straight from the bottle. YUCK. Tried it once, and can't imagine why anyone would prefer it. Don't expect a candy bar chocolate taste... just an easy to swallow fish oil. And with my mother having been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, I know how important Omega-3 is.
