I bought this at the recommendation of a professional hoof trimmer to trim back the frog flaps on my horses' hooves - where thrush hides. These pruners are strong, easy to use and best of all shaped such that I can clean out and neaten up dead frog tissue without worry of overtrimming or damaging my horses' feet.
