Unable to take stress, broke on first use,

Update: May 13, 2009: I contacted Corona via their web site, within minutes they replied and said if I sent in either digital pictures or the tool they would replace it. About two days later I sent three snapshots of the broken tool and within ten minutes I received a (non-automatic) return e-mail saying they will send me a replacement within days. With this kind of customer service, if I could, I would raise the rating to three stars with a warning not to stres it too hard, just use it for light duty work, as intended.
## Update End ### While I admit I may have been right at the size capacity for this tool, a key part, which was made of "plastic" broke the first time I used the clipper. The tool is now unusable. I have never had this happen with any other quality tool. I have damaged blades by cutting things that are too large or hard, even mis-aligned things sometimes, but I've never been left with an unusable tool. I will check with Corona on their warrenty. I do think this will be a good product for very light work and I bought one for my mother for Christmas. (Before I used mine.) I doubt very much that she will have any problems with it, trimming flowers etc. However, if you have heavier work in mind I suspect the Corona Ergo-Action Forged Bypass Pruner 3/4", often featured on this page, would be a better option.
