I purchased this after purchasing a less expensive Corona pruner earlier in the year. It got dull rather quickly, though admittedly I don't take great care of my tools all the time, and had been using it to cut through a lot of rubbery roots.
This was staying sharper, but after about 4 months of use, the spring stopped working that opens it after a cut, and I had to manually open it each time. I emailed the company about their warranty, and they said if I sent in the pruner I would get a replacement. A couple of weeks later they said they hadn't received it. As I'd taken a picture of it before I sent it in and had my shipping receipt to their zip code, they sent me a new one, so although I was out a pruner for a crucial month, I am glad they backed up their warranty.
I would have rated this lower if it weren't for the warranty treatment by the company. Before these pruners I had one that worked well for about 5 years, but it didn't have the name on it and I couldn't figure out what brand it was or I would've purchased that brand instead.
These work very well up to the inch they are supposed to, and are comfortable in my not that big hands. If these new ones last at least a year I will likely happily repurchase from Corona.

These pruners do a wonderful job. We've been using them every weekend (and some weekdays) since we've had them. Little effort is needed to cut through branches. It even does a nice job dead-heading my flowers. The blade is starting to show that it has been used, but we really have been using it a TON! Hopefully it will sharpen well when we take it to our sharpener!
